I purposefully was the very first customer in the door when Sakana Sushi & Grill opened for business. You can understand my... concern when, while others dining in the restaurant were consistently served their meals, I was forced to wait more than 35minutes (for a take-out order)! Sakana is absolutely incredible! We love this place and we love sitting up at the bar. The food is always so fresh and we love... seeing Juan and Eddy making their sushi creations. We went last evening and it was packed, so you know it?s a great place.Every time we go I always order the garlic parmesan cheese edamame, OMG they are the best. If you visit Sakana, this is a musttry, I promise you?ll love it!! I highly rate Sakana and if you?re looking for a sushi ???? restaurant this is an absolutemust!! Haven?t been here in 5 years, and happy to see it still remains a solid place for sushi. Only bad thing was we waited... excessively long for our sushi, and was starting to wonder if the server forgot to put our order in. Well, the server did infact forget to put our order in, and offered to comp dessert. I felt with that wait, we should have had one of our rollscomped. Despite that little snafu, everything was great. Stopped by totally randomly waiting for our appointment at the foot spa next door. Walking In we were greeted and seated... quickly. The staff was friendly and attentive. The sushi rolls were pretty good nothing spectacular but not bad either. My wifehad the chicken teriyaki bowl and seemed delighted. Definitely a place worth checking out. Read more
Surprisingly not over crowded so we sat right down. Sushi was great as always but server was not very good. She forgot about... us and had to be flagged down on the 3 occasions we needed something (plates, extra napkins, after waiting 15+ minutes aftereating to pay the bill). Read more
The best sushi- and I?ve tried about every sushi place in the valley. Family always meets up here for dinner, and has for about... the past decade or so, and it?s never disappointed. Very generous servings for the price. Thick slices of sashimi for only $15!Highly recommend. Read more
