Went at 1:00 on a Friday afternoon. We had the place practically to ourselves. Wait staff had nothing to do...they were just... wandering around. Host and manager were having a conversation in a large booth near where we were seated. Food was good, portionsizes were large. Our server was attentive. Pie was disappointing. Read more

Ordered the Ruben sandwich. Was really good. Came with a lot of fries. Our waiter was great. Didn't have to search for him when... we needed refills. He was on top of it. Ended our dinner with a slice of pie. Very good also. I always forget about village inn.I don't know why but I'll be coming to this location more often. They also had Halloween decorations in the pie window. Justsomething I noticed because Halloween is my favorite holiday. Read more

I do not like when a reviewer says a certain dish is awful since taste is strictly a matter of opinion. I am sure there are... people loving that same dish so my review in on the factual elements of the meal. Sooo, starting with the parking lot, plenty ofspaces that are close to the door. Inside is very pleasant, open and spiffy clean. There were both tables and booth and a verylarge dining area that could accommodate a large number of patrons. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient. The service was alittle slow but we were there for the lunch rush (right at noon). Prices are mid-range for the combo entree's (from $12-15). Wewere there on free pie Wednesday (surprise!) so that was a nice treat. I had the turkey and it was what you would expect, nicelypresented but a little bland (opinion). My wife had an unusual dish for a diner like restaurant: spinach tomato artichokechicken that was very tasty (opinion). Nice experience for a week day lunch. Read more

These are the burnt hash browns they served us, we sent them back. Then my drink was served in a broken glass. When I told the... manager about the hash browns instead of an apology he gave me a lecture on the potato shortage no one knows about and theyhave to buy potatoes locally at times. What that had to do with anything I still haven't figured out. Also the area where theyare located smells like an open sewer. You lose your appetite walking from the parking lot to the front door! First of our waiter Jay was fantastic. Good charisma, fun to talk to and made us feel welcome. I really wanted to like this... place, and it has so much potential. But I swear they must think that spices will summon the devil! The burgers were very blandand it was not really enjoyable. Cooked well, just no flavor. Also instead of soda just get water. The drinks are so watereddown that you really won't taste much of a difference. Read more

Seats are uncomfortable .. waitress took forever to get our drinks. Then two different tables ended up getting their food before... us. Never was asked if we wanted refills on our drinks. Wanted to go boxes but we never saw our waitress again. Food was goodthough Read more

Well to start with, the food was pretty good, but one small complaint. I ordered the ultimate skillet with gravy on it. The... waitress gave me an extra small bowl of gravy. Ok though she was being nice. But when I get the bill, there is a charge forextra gravy. I did not ask for extra gravy. I know it's only 99 cents, but it's the principal of it. Are you that hard up thatyou have to give someone something they didn't order, then charge them for it? Not good! Sorry to say but won't be back. Like Isaid it was only 99 cents, but how many other people has the waitress done this to? I don't need my 99 cents back, but trainyour people better!!!!!!! I still have the receipt but the waitress name is not on it. Wonder why? Read more

Brittani was quick to greet me with a beautiful smile and friendly tone. Coffee was hot and fresh. One of my favorite places to... go get breakfast on my own. It’s calm and friendly and food has always been consistent. Read more
