Reviews for Gengis Khan in Glendale, CA

Happy to see that Glendale Galleria finally got a Mongolian BBQ spot back. And they've gone back to pre-pandemic serving, where... you're allowed to make your own plate! Prices were fair, and there were several meat and veggie options to build out the plateof your choice. They're generous with the noodles too, so you know you're getting your money's worth. Only downside is thatthey're located right next to a gym, which tends to have a certain smell to it. Not to sure about eating there, but definitelyworth taking a plate to go. Read more

It's kind of a takeout restaurant they do have a very big choice of vegetables I like to come here and eat primarily their... vegetable products cook very well. A bowl is $15 and they put noodles in it separately which are kind of greasy and fatty Idon't care for them but I find the food here acceptable M15 is good for a mega vegetable fix. Read more

I’m only giving 2 stars because the cooks were so nice and almost made up for the issues. The truth is you need to pay more... attention to cleanliness and customer service. The cashier clearly did not want to be there. You either are understaffed or needto have a talk with the young woman at the register. I asked for a large coke, and two bowls. I watched as she scratched off left over food off a plate put it on a tray then with the same rag she wiped the counter with dried that same plate being givento me. I asked if I could please get another plate, I didn’t want to say it out loud in front of customers and embarrass her, that’s a conversation for management. She insisted that all plates were the same and wanted to give me the same plate. To sayshe game me attitude was mild, but I’ll leave it at that and asked to get 2 wet plates and wiped them down myself. First thewiping of plates should be done in the back not in front of customers, should not use the same rag being used on the counter.Food can taste amazing but if the place is not clean and the moment you come up to the register you can see the person takingyour money is clearly not happy to see you I will not come back. If you really like noodles and you are in the mall this is a must. *Consider taking it to go since there's not a lot of tables... to sit down and eat. Read more

Like everywhere, prices have gone up. I paid $16.95 for a bowl and a drink. Crazy for a mall food court. That said, I enjoy... Mongolian wok cooking. I've never tried Gengis Khan. I was surprised how good it was. You get to fill your medium sized bowlwith meats and veggies. At the end, they will add the noodles, or you can substitute with a rather small container of rice. Theycook it while you wait, and in a few minutes you have a custom made stir fry. They season it per your preferences. It was verygood. I'd go back again often if it wasn't so expensive. A two entre choice from Panda Express, across from Gengis Khan was$9.30. Choices at this Panda did not look very appetizing, that's how we ended up at Genghis Khan. We weren't sorry. Read more

Being spontaneous… from the cashier to the cook great customer service. I haven’t had Mongolian Grill for awhile so this is... perfect. You customize your noodles to your liking. From mild to spicy. Healthy and deliciously fresh. I would recommend thisrestaurant. Read more

Delicious ingredients, and they are really receptive to letting you customize your plate so it's made just how you want. I... always ask them to cook it with just the water and not the barbecue sauce (trying to go low sugar) and they always areunderstanding and get it right every time. Great price too. Read more
