I?m not very versed in Korean food so my review is mostly for people that are in the same boat. This place is very nice, good... service. We were a big group so I tried different dishes, my favorite was the Spicy Pork with Rice (can?t remember the actualname). Knocking one star because the soups were just ok, for the price I expected better. Read more

Jin Cook was in my bookmark folder for quite a while, finally got the chance to try it with my wife yesterday. We tried the Pork... Curry Katsu and Spicy Beef Bone Broth with Glass Noodle. Both of them were very tasty, however, for the price, it was small. Thecurry was great but no selection on the spicy level. The beef broth is superb but the meat ingredients are too little. Not sureif I will go back especially when there are other similar choices with better pricing nearby. Read more

We tried quite a few things off the menu. The food was good, but didn?t necessarily stand out to me. I eat Korean food quite... often. I guess for being located right on Brand, it?s nice to have a place to go that has a little bit of everything. Out ofwhat we ordered, I liked the mushroom japchae and the spicy pork with cheese the most. Read more

loved their cute decorations and vibes! but I don't think they are going to survive in LA. Their kimchi is too sweet. Boo dae... Jji gae should be more kimchi in it. But I will be back to try other foods here. Katsu looks pretty good! Read more

I've got to be honest... I've got mixed feelings about this place, but I'm definitely willing to come back to try out different... menu items. First of all, their banchan is amazing. They only serve kimchi, pickled radish, and pickled onions but damn they'repretty good. I'd believe them if they told me they had cute Korean grandmas making all the banchans in the kitchen. The food, for me, is where Jin Cook fell short. While it's not what they're known for, I ordered the Army Stew because I wanted somethinghearty and spicy and while the flavor of the broth was good, they didn't really put much in the stew. If you ever order ArmyStew at a restaurant in Ktown, you'll get a bowl PACKED with veggies and canned/processed meats and ramen noodles, butunfortunately I was left wanting more. My girlfriend ordered the Sweet Pumpkin Cheese Curry Katsu and we both liked it. Thepumpkin flavor is very subtle and quiet but the dish as a whole was good and filling. While there aren't a lot of servers, theywere all very nice and did their best to help everyone. There is paid parking in the back but there should be plenty of freestreet parking as well. Overall, I would probably pass on the army stew and get one of their other soups next time. Read more

Soup(Guk Bob) was decent(well seasoned but meat was a little dry) and jalapeno cheese pork cutlet was pretty good (crispy, big... portion, nice hint of jalapeno and rich curry). Would I come back? Not for soup, yes for pork cutlet. Read more

Wasn?t expecting much but it turned out be pretty tasty. Service was ?eh.? We ordered the Spicy Tofu Soup, Beef Soup, and... marinated dumplings. The broth for both of ours was on point?tasty and not overly salted. The dumplings had the perfect amountof crispy-ness to it. I?m not a fan of sweet sauces, so the sauce wasn?t so great for me. But if you?re okay with that, thenthis is a great dish for you. Read more

Good prices, tasty food, and incredibly generous portion sizes. I ordered the spicy pork, which came out with a very simple... presentation that looked delicious and was boiling from the hot stone. The food itself tasted pretty good and was spicy enoughto have a kick but mild enough that it still let the pork come through. Only complaint would be the hot stone being a bit toohot and needing to wait a few minutes for the food to cool but I think the wait is worth the wow factor when it comes outsizzling and boiling.
