Good place to satisfy some Kabab cravings. This please is nicely tucked in on the corner of Glenoaks and Western. They have a... parking lot behind the establishment but you will need to walk out of the lot and to the front to access the store. Uponentering the store for the first time it may seem confusing as it looks like a fancy butchers shop which sells marinated meat.But if you walk up to the register they will take your order there. The food quality is decent and the portions are decent too.The place looks busy and you can order via the phone. Their combo come with a side of rice, lavash, roasted tomato, chili andthe meat. I would not recommend ordering from Original Kabob Factory for a catering event. I ordered yesterday, and on their website, it... was saying it serves 15 adults and in the picture was a lot of big stuff. I thought they were not lying. We get their... family catering for any and all of our parties - 100.00 and you can feed 12-15 people....thats a steal. Their meat is beyondfresh, their sauces are like no other, and their sides are mouthwatering. Get the cucumber yogurt salad, you will NOT regret it.And they send coupons to your email for 10% off! I would not recommend going with Original Kabob Factory for a catering event, especially if you are doing a wedding. The phrase... "over promise and under deliver" is a key theme in how our overall event went. After our wedding and before writing this reviewI did send Nick, the owner, a detailed email to discuss the below issues outlined in this review and received no response. Whatwent wrong: >Two of your servers were late - this meant that the assistant cook was helping our coordinator set up linen,plates, etc. >Once the late servers arrived they started working on the appetizers, but even with our coordinator's help theappetizers could not get out fast enough (we also received this feedback from our guests). >Additionally, one of the servers wasoff on her phone for 30 min when everyone was hustling to get the food out. >Our food service was late, not brought out in atimely manner or replenished. Additionally, plates that were brought out had mountains of rice and barely any meat (this, inparticular, was disappointing as it was important for us to have food on the tables and replenished in a timely manner, andincredibly disheartening knowing how much was left over at the end of the night). We essentially paid for a ton of food that wasnever served. I was so looking forward to this meal but it was pretty disappointing. Firstly, it says there is dine-in but that equates to a... couple of tables outside, right in front of the stop lights on a main road so you'd get loads of lovely exhaust fumes if you ateout there. Good job my hotel is only 5 minutes away and I decided to drive tonight! I ordered a lamb combo and a pound of beefbut I guess there was a misunderstanding and I received a beef combo instead! So much rice and so little meat in the beefcombo! The lamb chops were cooked well but there was no taste until I applied my own salt to bring out the flavor inthem. What a great Kabob place near my work office! I was craving something different today since I had to go into the office so I... looked up Kabob places near my office and this place got good reviews. So I decided to drive there and it was the best choice.They have underground parking so that's where I parked my car. When I walked in, the employee greeted me and I told him it wasmy first time here at the place. So he went through their meat options and what I should try since it was popular. I decided togo with the combo plate and pick beef louleh since he told me it was good and the chicken shish kabob cause he said people lovethat one. I wanted to substitute the onions that come with the plate out for their cucumber salad but he said they didn't offerthat so I stuck with what came in the plate. It took about 10 minutes for my food to be ready since they made it fresh but itwas very good. Their rice is always my favorite and you get a good portion of the meat.
