A very elegant location that is beautifully decorated. Like many restaurants, they are suffering from a staffing shortage, but... the service was still adequate to enjoy the meal. Although everything was delicious and definitely a step up from your typicalexpress, the prices put it in a category above most Chinese restaurants and therefore slightly overpriced. Read more
The Panda Inn is owned by Panda Express but they are like night and day where Panda Express the food is Dreadful and very small... portions and very plastic interior the Panda Inn is on a par in terms of its food quality with PF Chang's and it's quitereasonable large portions and magnificently prepared and the seating are on individual couches which are wonderfully comfortableand nice China nice table cloth and cloth napkins and beautiful plates with large portions of anything you order and we orderedmany different things from Steam dumplings to vegetable egg rolls and a variety of main courses and everyone was as good as theother I give this a big thumbs up and it is great and anybody who goes will enjoy it enormously and without a doubt it is one ofthe better restaurants in Pasadena. We've been dining here for years and are frequent patrons for take-out. We had the pleasure of actually dining in earlier... tonight and had one of the best experiences, primarily due to the warmth and humor of our server, Maureen. She was courteous andfunny, traits that are hard to find. The food was as expected-- very good. But Maureen was exceptional. When we go back, we planon sitting in her section again! Read more

Delicious food, especially the Phoenix Chicken ????, can?t go wrong with that choice. Bak Choi was great with the black garlic,... Mapo Tofu was decent, just wish there was some sort of meat added to it, Crispy Noodles were refreshing and light, and the PorkFried Rice was very filling. We finally came here for dinner a few weeks ago and already can't wait to go back!!! They have generous portions (the regular... size portions was enough for 3 of us) and the food is top notch. Service was quick and curtious. The one dish that won us allover was the Panda Beef!! It was so good!! We couldn't get enough. Prices are a bit up there but the food is worth it. Expectto pay above $18 a plate (regular size). My favorite part was the white chocolate dipped fortune cookie that came with thecheck. Restaurant is clean and fancy. The price to quality ratio is pretty great, the service is fast and the ambiance classy. Fun fact: this is actually the first... Panda Express, and their menu items reflect that. Although it's very upscale; it's still an upscale version of Panda Express.I'm no spice fenatic but i do like some here and there, some of their spicy dishes didn't seem to have any spice to them.
