Great food for the price only gave a 4 star review not because anything the restaurant did but because the company it keeps, if... hearing someone screaming on their Bluetooth or stuff like that will make you not enjoy your food then don't go there. God lovestruckers they keep this country moving but sometimes it's hard to be around them when they're on their downtime they have littleto none to care who they upset. It's a truck stop restaurant you'll have to get over it if you want the good food and goodprices Iron skillet has. Read more
Good restaurant always clean nice staff never overly busy as well to where you can't never find a seat I just love this whole... place and there's a lot on site a store for great gift items great card selection very clean bathrooms nice truck stop very wellkept we stopped every time usually coming and going LOL Read more
First time here in three years. No more buffet. Oh well. Looks like they cleaned it up very well. Server is nice and came to me... quick. Can't wait to try the Cajun fish. Man next to me is eating it....looks amazing. Read more
Breakfast was good. Grits was loose, just as I like it. After sitting down I realized I only had a 25 min window to order and... eat. The waitress understood and accommodated by bringing me my breakfast fairly quickly and giving me a to-go cup for my orangejuice. I?m curious to see how each Iron Skillet is decorated since this one had a Kentucky horse theme. Cute! Read more
A must stop for all the truckers, travelers and locals that are driving up or down I-65. Nice big clean environment, friendly... staff and food was fresh, hot and delicious. Adjacent to the restaurant was a nice sized convenience store and gas stationright out side. So come on out and meet the Iron horse yourself and take a break from your long travels on the road. I ordered the traditional breakfast to go no drink , the bacon tasted weird so I assumed maybe they use turkey bacon or... something weird like that. The eggs tasted like the powder eggs from McDonald?s and the hash browns tasted like they deep friedthem in old fry grease instead on cooking on a flat grill ?.
