We ordered off the menu instead of the buffet. I was skeptical at 1st as only 2 tables were occupied during lunch on a Sunday. ... The food was very well served and fresh and hot. My only reason for 4 out of 5 stars was that I asked for a to go cup for myiced tea and I got charged 2 teas. I will go back to try the buffet this week. Customer service was good too. Read more

A friend brought me here. I was pleasantly surprised that this was not just an ordinary Mexican restaurant. The staff were super... friendly and the food was SUBLIME!! Their Mexican corn shaved in a cup was one of the best I have ever eaten. I will go backregularly for just this dish!!! ???? I then had the chicken tostada which was super thin and crunchy and super delicious. Theirsalsas are delicious and their corn chips divine!! You will certainly see when you look at their menu that this is no averageMexican joint!! This will for sure be "my" restaurant when I crave Mexican here in the Northwest suburbs. The food is good but their customer service is terrible and I will not support places with bad service. Use to go here all the... time until I was accused of stealing when they forgot to add a burrito that I ordered online and paid for! I went to pickup andthe order was not ready at the time to pickup. Ended up waiting 35 minutes for everything to be made. Would have been nice ifthey told me it was going to take that long. Then I get home one of the burritos was missing and I called them only to getaccused of stealing and they will check the cameras. They ended up admitting they forgot the burrito but at that point it wasthe last straw and too late. I will no longer be eating at Amigas and have moved on to a better mexican restaurant that hasbigger portions for the same price and most importantly way better customer service! Read more

Terrible customer service the little young girl that works there has a tremendous horrible attitude not attentive never smiles... says thank you nothing. Whenever I do carry out she is the exact same twice I had to look over at her to get her to even respondshe just keep rolling the silverware she forgot my drink that didn’t come after my food came to the table which she didn’tbring because she was rolling silverware than I needed boxes and my check so had to go to the counter where she was rolling thesilverware to get them I told her I also need my check 15 mins later still waiting so went to the register and asked anotherlady who was polite and she apologized. So if the owner ever cars enough to look at these reviews she didn’t receive a tip forthose reasons and it seems to be a trend cuss I be read other reviews and I bet were all speaking of the same person!
