Cockroach in our food!! My boyfriend and I were excited about half off margaritas and some good food. The margaritas were... good. But when we got our food my boyfriend literally grabbed my hand as I went for a tortilla because there was a hugecockroach on our tortilla container. Found this gem by accident and it has become our favorite. Many places closer to me BUT this place is worth the drive. Food is... amazing, have not had a bad or average meal. I really want to give them a better review because they have some amazing guac and I’ve had some pretty decent enchiladas... there before. But, the steak burrito I got from them was literally one of the worst meals I’ve ever had from a restaurant. Iwould have never though there is such a thing as a bad steak burrito, but there is. The meat was dry, chewy and bland and Ihonestly think there was ground beef mixed in with it. I used to be a missionary so I very rarely throw away food but I couldnot even stomach it. I pretty much paid $13 dollars for a side of rice and beans and a 1/4 of a nasty burrito. I want to givethem the benefit of doubt but it was so bad that I’m here writing this review, something I never do. We read about this spot and heard margaritas were good. Since moving into the area I'm going to all the margarita spots and see... which will be my go to spot. well THIS PLACE IS ONE OF THEM! I was greeted kindly walking in and by all staff. Everyone wearingmask and respectful to following Covid protocol. On WEDNESDAYS its HALF OFF MARGARITAS ????(Pitchers & Cups) My wife and I hadthe pitchers of lime and mango and both were excellent. You can ask for a gold tequila upgrade for FREE but you have toask. Pitchers half off were $17.99 each Tacos are $1 on Wednesday's as well so you can't beat that. What a fun and creative under the sea theme inside. The lunch special was reasonably priced and plentiful and all food was... amazing. They have good specials during the week!
