Wow! The service was outstanding. Everyone that worked in the restaurant was at our service if we needed anything. The food... was phenomenal. A great variety - the cooks were exceptional! Unique find, wanted for the "66" to celebrate my wife's 66th birthday. Very stylishly prepared and presented items, well... delivered with excellent service. Although the heavily wooded interior was welcome, this did appear more of a sports bar (counted 16 TV screens from our vantage point). On a sour note, my car was vandalized right in front of establishment, midday, with no security camera coverage- so consider the neighborhood when going here. Read more
I enjoy the atmosphere and the food. Over the last 6 months it's gone under new ownership and changes. Menu has been reduced... and service has been poor. Lots of unskilled servers & bartenders. Went yesterday and took over 25 min and I had to go askabout them...to get our first drink which ended up coming with our meal. Then they charged us regular prices for happy hourbeverages and had to get that corrected too which took even more time. Then to top it off paid with cash and they had to getmoney from somewhere so they weren't prepared for that either. The prices have gone up but would be acceptable if the servicewas better. Taco Tues: 2 tacos?short ribs, pork belly, cod, shrimp or chicken) for $8. I ate the grilled chicken and fresh strawberry salad... for around $13. It had a lot of chicken which I gave to my friend. She said it was a little dry. The rest of the salad wasdelicious. It had arugula, the candied walnuts were really good, a few strawberry slices, and the raspberry vinegrette camemixed in just right. The waiter was very kind and very attentive, so the service was excellent. However the food was not good, the tri-tip on the tri... tip salad was very salty and did not seem fresh. The salad was doused in a mayonnaise tasting dressing so the lettuce was wiltedand did not seem fresh. Also I got about 30 mosquito bites while on the patio, and I am still paying for those bites. Great venue. PLENTY of seating. Beef and drink menu. Outstanding lunch.
They have a wonderful bar and a very nice menu. The reason for the 4 stars is that the lettuce on my salad was unwashed. There... was grit/dirt which probably also means I consumed pesticides. Other than that everything else was great. Read more
