Me and 3 friends met up here to have a birthday dinner for 2 of the said friends. I had bought a cake for their birthday. Well,... the owner took my cake when I entered the door and said we could not have it in the restaurant. FYI, it was 3:00 and there wasliterally nobody else in the entire restaurant except us. So we did not get to have cake. Had to just send it home with one ofthe birthday girls. In my opinion this was very rude. I have brought cake into many different restaurants previously without anyproblems. This kind of ruined my experience and view of the place. Other than that the food was decent but pricey. Read more
Located in Glennville (GA), this Family Owned Winery counts with Wine Tasting, Historic Farm Tours, Gift Shop and an amazing... Restaurant. You have to call and reserve your space in order to eat at their Restaurant. The proprietors, Charles and DeborahTillman will receive you with a warm welcome and will guide you throughout their business. Their Wines are out of this world. Beautiful beautiful place, and an afternoon well spent, amazing location, great food and wine! Please ask for Deborah she is a... sweetheart, she took such good care of us right from reservations till the time we left the place. We visited with our wholefamily and two young children and everything was too notch! Highly recommend please do visit them and do not forget to purchase their Fabulous wines. Read more
A great location and friendly staff, not to mention terrific local wines and food. We did the tasting and the owner does do a... bit of a comedic schtick while going through it. Apparently that?s not some folks cup of tea judging by other reviews, but ifyou?re familiar with Georgia you?ll enjoy - we did. Nothing offensive, just classic southern charm and a touch of fire andbrimstone They took special care of us with our infant son and made she we had all we needed. Make sure you call ahead toreserve your time slot for wine tasting and also to place your order. They?re mom and pop kind of joint and if they aren?t busythey may close for the day. Everything was great other then the condescending rude old man. The food was great, the wine was alright, the old man berating... and belittling his wife in front of customers? Not so much. Everything that didn?t involve him was amazing, his wife wasdarling, the vineyard was beautiful, and the food was (expensive) delicious. Dear Sir I didn?t get up for a wine tasting for asermon, I explicitly chose to do a wine tasting not a sermon. I had to leave the room entirely to avoid being called a ?cutie?again and be told about some nonsense that you could only vaguely pull from the Bible. When there are actual stories in theBible about wine. If you don?t mind condescending old religious men berating his wife and staff, but do like ok wine and goodfood, I would recommend this place. Can't say enough good about this little gem of a spot. From the wine tastings to the fabulous food, not to mention out of this... world gourmet desserts and little gift shop. Georgious. Absolutely beautiful property. The owner is very kind and she can explain everything about their products. ... Seriously, we spent a half dour discussing the sand pears they used. This is a family run business. They have limited hoursand availability because they are making everything fresh. We didn't have an opportunity to try the food because thereservations were full, so reserve early if you plan on eating there. We had planned on doing the wine tasting, but when wecalled, we didn't ask the right questions. They are open for wine tasting, but that stops at 4PM so they can get ready fordinner. Read more
