The gf food is really delicious however the last 3 times I've been there I've been very ill afterwards. It was fine last... year but I would suggest if you have Celiac, stay clear. It seems to have become gluten light. Read more
Gourmet Café in downtown Glens Falls is the best place to go for gluten-free food. They have a dedicated gluten-free menu... amazing gluten-free desserts and the chef makes a rosemary bread that is gluten-free and just superb. Can?t say enough aboutthis reasonably priced restaurant for gluten-free dining. That said, if you like pasta, Gourmet Café has a pasta bar for youand, you guessed it, they have gluten-free pasta, if you need it. I come for the desserts, which are outstanding, the rosemarypaninis and the pizza, and you should too! PS. The french fries are cut from actual potatoes. Read more

Blown away by the gluten free options ? a whole separate menu! Was pleasantly surprised it was ?make your own pasta bowl? night,... with LOTS of choices! Very upsetting experience tonight. My husband and I have been to Gourmet Cafe many times.Tonight I ordered the chicken salad... with pears and walnuts for my entree. I ate from one side of the salad plate and was enjoying it very much however as i startedto eat from the other side of the plate there were several live bugs running around my salad. I didn?t know what they were! Icovered my plate with my napkin as I didn?t want to disturb the people sitting at the table right next to us. We called thewaitress over and showed her she said oh their just fruit flies I?ll take your plate away and take it off your bill like it wasno big deal. Waitress didn?t seem very concerned perhaps this happens on a regular basis I?m not sure but I order salads in mymany restaurants and this has never happened to me before. How did the person making my salad not notice multiple live bugs onthe lettuce or fruit! Disgusted!! Read more
