Amazing pizza just believe staff are not friendly and couldn?t tell why they treated me and my daughter as they did ? very... unwelcoming and bothered even though not busy! This restaurant is always top on my short list of places to go whenever I am in Glens Falls. If you are looking for local... flavor rather than that chain restaurant experience, this is the place to go. My kid loves the hot meatball sandwich with freshcut fries (yes, not the frozen fries everyone else serves). I always order the all meat special pizza. Two slices and you arefull with plenty to take home for the next day! The service is always fast and friendly like a locally owned restaurant shouldbe. The atmosphere is nothing fancy and definitely dated, but I have been going here since I was a kid and I just love thisplace. Read more
Very surprised at the size of the pizzas. No warning that a large was actually the size of maybe a small/medium. They weren't... very good either. The static is so bad on the phone when you call them you can't hear what's being said. The sauce had pieces oftomato in it which I found weird for the texture of a typical plain cheese pizza. I had been contemplating as to where I wanted to get a pizza since I had the craving for a pizza for several days. I only tried... the pizza at Talk of the town once around five years ago. Wow what a cold treatment when I walked through that door. No one saidhello or welcome as I stood waiting for someone to notice me standing there. There was a female waitress who came in thedirection twice but did not give me any recognition. Finally a young man appeared as if he was head to the kitchen and saidhello have you been waited on? I said no and I explained to him that I ordered a pizza. I gave him my name and he went to thekitchen and the girl who took my phone order had my name written wrong but he went back and immediately reappeared with mypizza. He was walked me over to the bar and the bartender who had seen me come in and didn?t say boo to me and I paid for myorder. I questioned the size of the pizza and he said that the place only sales one size. However, when I ordered it the girl onthe phone explained to me that there were two sizes. I gave the young man a $5.00 tip for his great customer service. I gave thebartender my back as I walked out the door because the tip of the day for him was that he wasn?t getting one. The two ladiessitting at the bar could sense that I was not pleased with my visit and they both stated to me on my way out that the pizza wasa great pizza. I turned to say I tried the pizza there once years ago and that I hope it?s still good. I wished them a goodevening. I learned today that the best bang I received from this establishment for my money was the tip I gave the nice youngman for his recognition of a customer regardless of the color of their skin. No worries, I?m not a fan of eating out. I don?tusually make promises, but I promise I will never set a foot in that establishment ever again. Read more
