I visited the Culinary Gangster truck during a concert last night at the RiverEdge Park in Aurora. Wow! Best food truck food... ever!! I had the street gyro and my only regret was that I couldn't finish the whole (huge!) thing. Seriously the best gyro andamazing service, too, even in the middle of a downpour. Delicious place. I had the raspberry Spinach Wrap (10/10) the other day and absolutely loved it. Decided to come back to get the... full salad, but they used feta cheese instead of goat and I was already home by the time I realized. Still really tasty, but notexactly what I wanted. Not sure if the guy that was in when we were there was the owner, but he got the food out to us really quick. The gyro burger... that I got was really greasy, but hey, it was really good! If you order cheese fries, just know that you will get one of thoselarge boats. Read more

This place is food well done. I literally ordered from Grub Hub first and was shocked at the quality that was maintained. The... price is worth the food, as it tastes truly great! So far I?ve had the classic burger (which was an incredible burger!), thepopcorn cauliflower, and the bbq wrap. Man everything has been A1 so far. I will continue coming to try new things! Read more
Just tried the new location in Glenview. Fantastic food!! I've had food from the owner Ricky through his other concepts... (Culinary Gangster: Food Truck, Eden's Garden & Valor) and all are amazing! The new location lives up to my previousexperiences. Ingredients are fresh, the food is tasty and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend this location! Looking for something new to try I stumbled upon the Culinary Gangster's website. I was intrigued by the menu but very much... undecided as to what I should order since there's so many great options to choose from. The menu is friendly, simple tounderstand and with a variety of items that guarantees you'll find something to like. I decided to go with the Gyro Burger andupgraded my fries to the gangster fries. The burger came on a crisp brioche bun with tzatzki sauce, diced tomatoes, cucumbersand onions. The patty was juicy and gratifying just as much as the gyros, perfectly cooked. This has been one of, if not thebest burger I've ever had! At first, the gangster fries seemed a bit overwhelming, but they did an amazing job at balancing allthe flavors and the components compliment one another wonderfully! All in all, it was a great experience! I'm eager to keepexploring their menu. Not much else to say besides go see for yourself! You won't be disappointed. Read more
I had high hope for this place and the staff was very friendly in explaining the menu however, with their AC being out, it was... really hot in there and I can only imagine how hot it was in the kitchen. Ordered their famous gangster burger and asked formedium rare - what I got was beyond cooked meat that hard to bite into. The fries were over fried and close to burned.Disappointed. Read more
