Food is ok for a Mexican restaurant, nothing special, but perfectly fine. I have a Lalo's close to my house and I often go there... for a quick decent burrito, especially the shredded beef burrito, which comes out quickly. Burrito dinner includes a cup ofchicken soup, which is too salty for me to eat, and, in the restaurant but not to go, includes a side of a dollop of sour creamand one of ok overly mashed guacamole. Carne Asada type dishes are also just OK. Mondays they have house margaritas for 1/2price. Service is also 3 stars, not always attentive, and some long time staff members are not very pleasant or serviceoriented. I go here occasionally when I don't feel like driving to Mexican restaurants I prefer for food. Read more
It was my first time going there at the Glenview location and I loved the experience and the food. They have a front open... seating and the evening was perfect The staff was friendly and gave complimentary chips and salsa. Margaritas weredelicious. Entrees were slightly on the higher side. My pork, Al pastor burritos came with rice and beans on the side withguacamole and sour cream. The meat was delicious for $18.55. My friend got a pollo in Mole sauce and she was happy with herorder. Friendly excellent service. Good selection of cocktails and Mexican Cuisine. Free parking family atmosphere. They have a large... selection on the menu and a bar. I only wish they would add craft Mexican beer.They have also expanded outdoor seating in frontof a restaurant under a rough. They are open for outdoor seating. Read more
This location seems to have lost some of the quality we were used to. The salsa and chips that are complimentary have more of a... commercial flavor. The tamales were good. I had a steak burrito which was fine. I was able to request tomatillo sauce on theside which was nice. I would give this location 3.5 stars not 4. Read more
Best Mexican food in Glenview hands down. Loved the enchiladas. My wife got the tacos and I had to try some of hers too! You... seriously can?t go wrong with anything at this place. The wait staff is terrific as well. Will continue to come here as much asI can. Plus, the cocktails are fabulous.
