Really enjoyed my beer and burrito from the taco shop right next door
This is a really nice place to spend time whether your family. Yes, it is right - this is a family place even it?s a brewery.... They have a bike parking, a lot of space and patio outside. I saw there parents with infants. Great list of beers but not sureabout the food. I guess, you can order from a place next door. Also they do accept Apple Pay. Liked this place really much. Read more
This was a very pleasant find, plus it is right next to Hackney's where you can make it a fuller evening with food and drink.... There were about 10-12 on site brewed options ranging from a cherry sour, to a grapefruit ale, to red ale, to jalapeno IPA, to aIrish stout nitro. They even had a bourbon Old Fashioned. Great little place serving some of the best tasting beers in the microbrewery industry. The beers and the atmosphere at this... place are a 5 star rating all day long. The service is definitely not..... if they're slightly busy you encounter a long waitline just to get a beer. Once you get to the bartender at the bar, you feel rushed if you're not familiar with their beer menudue to the long line of people behind you waiting for a beer. I'm not blaming the employee for that, it's the owner's fault.They had only one person running the whole entire place on a super busy Thursday night. The poor employee was bartending,closing people's open tabs, also picking up glasses from tables and washing them... all while bartending to an almost fullestablishment, that's insane. I hope they hire more people and schedule at least two people in the afternoon to evening hours,so their clients can have a much better full rounded experience. The system they have in place is terrible for volume sales,what they don't realize is the amount of people that just leave because it takes too long to get service, I was one of them. Notonly does it takes too long to get a beer... but it also takes too long just to close your open tab at the bar because you haveto get in line. I hope that by the next time I stop by, they have implemented a better service plan in place. Read more
Macushla is such a great spot! Really great setup for outdoor seating, very good beers and friendly staff. It?s right next to... Had a great evening at Macushla. Very solid beers across a wide variety of styles. I had a chance to hang out with the... brewmaster David for a bit and he definitely takes pride in his work. For the beer geeks, Macushla has a manual 7 barrel systembut the manual system makes no difference here. While they don't serve food on site, you can order from Hackney's across thelot. I was recommended the buffalo burger by Marcella, and it definitely hit the spot. The brewery is a nice neighborhood spotwith a great vibe and great people.
