Nice cozy place in a strip mall off Waukegan Rd. Ordered the chirashi for lunch and it was excellent. Plenty of good fish,... fresh, very tasty. The entire presentation was on point. But it was expensive. Almost $10 more than at other sushi spots in thearea. I don?t mind spending a little more. But it makes me think if I?ll be coming here as frequently as I would like. Read more
We tried this place today for lunch and it was really good! Portion sizes are on the larger side for what you?d expect of a... lunch combo. The California and spicy tuna rolls were the closest (in the midwest) to the kinds I?ve had growing up in LA -surprisingly hard to find good rolls out here. That alone sold me. :) ramen was also decent. Service was great; my chicken cameout extremely overcooked and they asked if I?d like something different and the replacement salmon teriyaki was cookedperfectly. One of the best sushi places around! Great options and unique pairings that I haven?t seen elsewhere. I love that this isn?t a... chain and your supporting a local business.
