Nice cozy place in a strip mall off Waukegan Rd. Ordered the chirashi for lunch and it was excellent. Plenty of good fish,... fresh, very tasty. The entire presentation was on point. But it was expensive. Almost $10 more than at other sushi spots in thearea. I don?t mind spending a little more. But it makes me think if I?ll be coming here as frequently as I would like. Read more

We tried this place today for lunch and it was really good! Portion sizes are on the larger side for what you?d expect of a... lunch combo. The California and spicy tuna rolls were the closest (in the midwest) to the kinds I?ve had growing up in LA -surprisingly hard to find good rolls out here. That alone sold me. :) ramen was also decent. Service was great; my chicken cameout extremely overcooked and they asked if I?d like something different and the replacement salmon teriyaki was cookedperfectly. Just overall very satisfied with our entire experience here and will be back! Read more

One of the best sushi places around! Great options and unique pairings that I haven?t seen elsewhere. I love that this isn?t a... chain and your supporting a local business. Yes it?s pricey but you?re getting high quality fish which, I would think, mostpeople would want. Definitely check this place out if you haven?t. Read more

The sushi and udon were almost adequate. The ?Big Calif. Roll? tasted of rice, mainly. White wine of unspecified origin costs 10... for a 4.5 ounce serving in a tiny old school wine glass. Wholesale, they cost $ 2.00 or so... I actually spilled the wine andbroke the glass. They added $ 9.00 to the bill because of the broken glass. Karma?s a B, Nobori San. We won?t be visiting youagain... Read more

We don't get to come here for lunch often, but when we do it is always really good. They have some really good deals for lunch... and the full menu is also available. The service is always good and Nobori is there serving you many days and nights. It iseasy to tell he really cares about his business and wants to succeed. In the burbs it's a great place to go for lunch or dinnerhighly recommend! Read more

Wow. I am so impressed. This has to be the best sushi restaurant in the Chicagoland area. If it's not number 1 it's hands down a... contender for it. We got 4 rolls and we're nothing short of blown away. I know the spider roll isn't something that's loved byall but I always love trying them at every sushi restaurant I go to. Putting my guilty pleasure aside (which was also perfect)the rolls were seriously perfect. The fish tasted so clean and the rice was the perfect temperature. They have plenty of freshfish (non-spicy) options as well as spicy ones. The major factor that separate this restaurant from your typical spot: -veryclean fish taste -spices and auxiliary flavors were not overbearing -the rice, the rice, the rice! -the simplicity and beautifulof the rolls -the atmosphere and service Me and my fiance sat down and when I first opened the menu I will admit I was a bitoverwhelmed. There are a lot of entrees/appetizers. With that said, when you get to the sushi section it's clear, concise, andhas things for every sushi lover. Also also also, don't skip the back page!! That's where I picked up the yellowtail and springonion roll!! This was probably my favorite of the 4!! If you're ever in the area I seriously cannot stress enough how much Iloved this place. It brought me back to Boston and Japan which were the 2 best sushi experiences I've had. That's sayingsomething. Read more
