This place is so good that I went through a phase of driving here every weekend - from Wisconsin. Seriously. Food is always... amazing every time. Somehow it gets to your table faster than at any other restaurant I?ve ever been too. Best pancakes, eggs,orange juice, and bacon I?ve ever had to this day. Great environment. Not the cheapest in the world but really not the mostexpensive either; I would say that it?s probably pretty on the nose reasonable considering how high the food quality is. All ofthe locations seem to be just about as excellent as well. Wisconsin is great but there is no good food in this state, sometimesyou have to take the family to an Illinois pancake house when hunger strikes. Read more

One of the consistent good brunch spots in the neighborhood. Service - Great accommodating service - were a really big bunch of... about 9 guys and they put few tables in the back for us even during peak Sunday rush time. Value - similar to everywhere theprices for food have gone up due to inflation. Don?t know of any cheaper brunch places anymore at this level (Niles brunch cafe,yolk, buttermilk pancake ????, wild berry). Portions - usually for this price and the Santa Fe omelette combo u used to getstuffed by the time you finished your meal. But not this time as the size of the pancakes ???? have decreased by a great length.They used to be normal pancake / full size but now they are the eggo ready to eat breakfast box size. This establishment is our go-to! It never fails... Everything we order is delicious. The service is always wonderful and the... pancakes with ice cream and strawberries are out of this world! This place is a traditional waffle/pancake house. I ordered the corn beef hash it looked like a blob of dog food on my plate and... was not very good. The poached eggs were perfect and the wait staff was very attentive and friendly. Even the busser was sweet.If we go again, I think I will order a waffle which looked like their specialty and looked quite good. It is close to theHolocaust museum. Read more

I have gone pass this place so many times and always wanted to try this so, when I finally got a chance today, I was really... looking forward to it. I know I chose Sunday, one of the busiest day for breakfast, to come here but boy, what a disappointmentthis place turned out to be. From entrance, no acknowledgement or welcome from ladies behind counter. Finally, after severalminutes, one of them decides to take me to a corner booth. Nothing said beyond escorting me to booth. Another person comes byand asks if I am by myself, once confirmed, he picks up extra utensils and walks away - no offer of coffee or any other drink.Finally after few more minutes, waiter comes by and asks if I am ready? I asked for coffee and said it was my first time to getrecommendations...only to get everything is great here! I end up ordering their name sake combos. For high priced place,quantity is much less than other places. Plus the entire dish was sweet which ruined the experience. When asked at end, waitersaid "oh yeah, our meat is caramelized with maple syrup!" Would have been nice to know ahead of time. Everything was so good and worth every penny. Bacon Belgium Waffle, Scrambled Eggs, Hash Brown with Habanero Cheese, Pico,... Cilantro.....Bacon, and Voffee.....Pancakes, Scrambled Egg with Cheese, and Ham.....all really good. The turkey sausage wasterrible, however, it was taken off the bill with no problem. Read more

I have visited about 3 different Walker Bros. locations and absolutely none of them disappoint. My go to are Eggs Benedict but... tried the Corned Beef Hash. Great service too. They offer kids menu. Read more
