Moxies (especially the Gloucester location) is my favourite restaurant to come to as someone with allergies! The service is... always exceptional, and a manager always comes to make sure they can make my meal safely for me. The food is always deliciousand consistent, and you can tell the majority of it is being cooked fresh as opposed to being prepared days in advanced. Thismost recent visit, we came for their Thanksgiving special, which was amazing. It was a full 3 course meal with a salad, hugeentry with a all of the traditional thanksgiving fixings, and a very generous portion of their white chocolate brownie fordesert. All for only $35. The server even let us know that they regularly do specials like this for all major occasions, sowe?ll be sure to visit again for a holiday meal in the future! The picture below is of the white chocolate brownie, it was sogood I ordered it for take out again recently, and was able to snag a photo before demolishing it. P.S. Moxies is one of our favorite franchise restaurants. And in all the visits we made to Ottawa, staying at the same hotel at St... Laurent, we never realized there was a Moxies so close by. We decided to order a take out. And the consistency of foodpreparation, it's taste and presentation was just the same as the one here in Mississauga. The Tacos, Chicken Fingers, Soupand Burger we ordered, came well packed for a takeout. The taste was very good and the portion very generous. With two floorsof seating, this will definitely be a restaurant we will visit during our next visit to Ottawa. It was almost an hour after westarted eating in our room, I realized that the front desk had not charged us for the food and I had absent mindedly walked out.I called the restaurant back and had the chance to meet Nathan (manager / owner) when I went back to pay. We have been moxies Gloucester few times know and love it. I got the loaded burger one of the best burgers I have ever had. Very... juice burger blasting with flavour. Lori got the shrimp tacos ???? very tasty ???? I had to try one to give my review I wouldget this next time has a blast of heat as well! The fresh smashed guacamole was bang on ! It was a great experience. I had the basil salmon. The sauce was fantastic. Watch the salt, its a touch rich. Plating was ok,... if it were me I'd add some greenery or a garnish but it's clean and the taste? ????????? We didn't really have a steady server.And we were told that it may change. But the service was actually phenomenal we had access to basically anyone that passed andwe were checked in on very regularly. It did lack the personal touch though. We were on the second floor. Thank you for yourservice servers. Great team work The salmon was quite rare. I will say I enjoyed it, but I'll add most people don't want a raresalmon, so tell the grill cook not to make that the go to and give it another minute .5 on each side.
