It's a quaint local pub. Service was OK not the friendliest. The wings were ok definitely lots of salt and pepper.

Max is the best! Greta place to grab a drink and decompress from the work day or listen to music with some friends.

The server was friendly and helpful which is the main reason I gave 3 stars. I had two issues. Firstly I was charged higher for... what I was quoted for the daily special. Secondly, the lobster wraps were nothing special, especially for $22 (was suppose to be15). Minimal amount of lobster with excessive lettuce (and lettuce rinds). I love most Royal Oaks, and this one is no exception. Good beer, friendly service, and tasty food esp the steak and mushroom... pie. They've done the best they can with the location and outside area, and it's quite pleasant despite being next to a road.Would recommend trying it out, and say Will sent you. Came here with a bday group after Dooly’s failed to honour reservations. Such a chill place with live music. Max the manager... was such a champ and gave amazing service, despite being the only bartender/server. The fries were fresh and rly good.
