Brought hubby to try Sconewitch. Since it was close to lunch time we each grabbed a scone sandwhich. Hubby chose ham and... gruyere and I chose the cucumber cream cheese. My sandwhich had a lovely chutney added which was a nice surprise and itcomplimented my sandwhich. The scone was nice and flaky and these sandwiches were eaten pretty quickly. I was lucky to get apicture! We also grabbed a small assortment of scones to go. Out of all the scones we grabbed the onion and herb one wasprobably the best! Since this was hubby's first time going to Sconewitch he has mentioned that he wants to go back to try morescones! Read more

I've been coming here for a very long time but yesterday I was shocked at the price for 2 scones and then you're asked to leave... a tip. Just a bit of a turn off. I know everything has gone up to stupid prices but the tip part got me. Read more

Scones are delicious, coffee and service not so much. Loved that it is the only SconeWitch opened on Tuesdays.

This is by far the best place ever to buy the most delicious scones!!! For Mother's Day, I ordered 24 frozen scones (8 vanilla... cream, 8 ginger currant, and 8 lemon lavender) as well as two containers of Devon cream for delivery, however I had accidentallyplaced the order for the weekend AFTER Mother's Day. I did not realize this, until I received an email from them saying thatoften people accidentally do this, and they asked me if I was sure I was placing the order for the right day. I replied to themand told them they were right and that I had wanted to order for Mother's Day but had got the date wrong. They quickly changedmy order, and I was able to pick up the scones in time! Their delivery/pickup system is clearly so well run, and both people whoI spoke to on the phone were so kind and helpful. In addition to this, the scones are to die for, and they came frozen with alist of instructions on how to bake them. My favourite is by far the vanilla cream, but the other two kinds are equally asdelicious and well made. :) TLDR; best scones ever, amazing customer service, great pickup/delivery service. Read more

On our way out of town, grabbed a bag of day old's for the trip home. The Oatmeal had me curious as it was a first, so buttery... with a subtle hint of oatmeal. Lemon poppyseed was fragrant and buttery as well. The Feta was okay, not a fan. The scones hadbeautiful texture, light and buttery (already mentioned, lol) Thank you for the snacks home. :) Read more

So we saw on the map that there is a scone witch in this area as we were driving around in the east end! It?s definitely a weird... location between different car repair shops and stuff! It?s a big place but maybe it?s their main kitchen or something.Definitely not meant for a sit down you just grab and go.. one person was there and made things a bit slower but we loved ourscones always fresh and yummy and we were able to get our usual sides of Devon cream and jam as well, all to go! I love their scones! Ordered mini and small scones for high tea. Used savory small scones for mini sandwiches and mini sweet... scones with devon cream, lemon curd and jams from the scone witch. The woman who helped me was very helpful with figuring outhow to place the order. Their monthly scone are always good too. Blue cheese and apple was very tasty for sandwiches. Read more

These scones are to die for. Buy in bulk. Watch them come out of the oven--you know they're fresh. Get a jar of Devon cream and... some jam. I recommend a combo of rhubarb-ginger jam and the currant-ginger scones. This location is the big kitchen of thechain, as such they don't have an eating area to sit in, and they close early. Be sure to grab some scones for your next fancybrunch! Okay, I've finished the first half of my scone. Time to go back for the rest of it! Read more
