Came as a party of 2. Really great ambiance and nice spaced out booths. Located in the heart of Main Street. Such a cute place... to dine on our afternoon stroll. Stella was our server and was very attentive and kind. (Thank you Stella!!) Patty melts weregreat and so were the sweet potato fries! There is a parking lot less than a block up the street. We will be back! Read more

After traveling all day, we started looking for a place for dinner before getting to our vacation rental. We stumbled across... Olivia’s on a busy night and we were delighted when they accommodated us despite not having a reservation. Little did we knowthat we were in for an amazing dinner. We both ordered the Chicken Parmigiana with salads and unsweetened tea. The first thing Inoticed when they brought the salads was that the dressing was homemade. They also brought us homemade yeast garlic and cheeseknots. Then the main course came out and it was by far the best chicken parmigiana I’ve ever had. The sauce was incrediblyfresh (it was like eating sunshine), the noodles tasted homemade, and the chicken with the cheese (including ricotta) wasincredible. Everything we saw them being out to neighboring tables looked good! In addition to excellent food, we were superimpressed with the friendliness of the wait staff and the attentiveness of the owner. The owner clearly cares about hiscustomers. If you are traveling in the area, you should definitely stop at Olivia’s. We highly recommend it! Read more

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Olivia's. The waitress was nice and helpful with our order. The food was excellent. I got a... hamburger and it was fixed exactly the way I asked. The lettuce and tomato on the burger was very fresh and the bun was verytasty. The fries were perfectly cooked. Everyone else at my table also raced at how good there meal was as well. Thanks to thestaff for a great meal! Well done. Read more

I love this place! Down home, friendly with awesome food that never disappoints. Steak was cooked to perfection and the... variation I asked for was not forgotten. My husband's skewers were perfection. Could not ask for better and the atmosphere is sorelaxing. Great setting, great staff, great food! Read more

$12 for a 2 Oz tuna sandwich that was nothing special and not cooked correctly. It was a bread sandwich basically. Waitress was... nice. Read more

I saw Olivia's when we drove down main street. There were quite a few people dining. On the way back, we decided to eat here.... Our waitress was amazing. So friendly and told us everything was made from scratch. I wish I had asked her name. I had achicken breast alfredo with ham, cheese, with an amazing cream sauce and pasta. My friend had a stuffed salmon with a deliciousrice pilaf. We also tried the clam chowder. A delicious flavor with plenty of seafood in it. Also, we were served rolls withparmesan. They were warm and delicious. The dessert was incredible. The owner, Gary Ward, checked on our meal and the service. He was such a delightful man to talk to. He told us about the history of the restaurant, answered our questions about the areaand gracious. If we go back to Gloucester, VA, we will head to Olivia's. Read more

The staff was five star the food was five star. The one fault I can find with this restaurant is the oysters were fabulous and... they're in Virginia and I'm in Michigan. The chef was super impressive I asked for vegetable medley instead of rice and he dida spectacular job. I have a new way of fixing my food now. I wish I could have brought the chef home with me.I was verysurprised and impressed. Read more

Second time visiting, and this place continues to exceed expectations for hospitality and deliciousness. Seafood chowder was... recommended by the hostess as one of theie signature dishes, and after having it I can see why. Not just clams here: we hadshrimps and all kinds of goodness. The prime rib was amazing. Owner came by and chatted us up. Said that, despite the reallylong cook times, they start with a higher grade of meat, so if it tasted a cut above, as it was, that was the reason. Notpictured is the brownstone cab I paired with my meal. When I asked if they had a drinks menu, our server said "beer and wine" soI asked "for a cab" and that's what I got. Loved the informality of that exchange! Hospitality in this place is somethingspecial. If you find yourself in town, stop by! Read more
