We just happened upon this gem while in Gloucester today. It is a must try. The brisket melt was filling and delicious and the... key lime pie was almost as good as my wife's! Our server was very knowledgeable, personable and helpful, perhaps the best we'veencountered. Thanks for a great visit! This has become our main place to eat in Gloucester. Today's lunch was typicallydelicious. I had the barbecue sliders and tomato bisque. Amazing! The attention to detail is a highlight of this restaurant. Isuggest trying it at soon as possible. I?ve been here a few times for coffee and lunch, which are both delicious! Decided to try their cake, they didn?t have... availability at the time to do a cake in 48 hours so I ordered a dozen raspberry shortcake cupcakes instead for a birthday andthey were a hit. They were $32 before tax which I think is pretty standard for a local bakery, and they were delicious! Read more
Food was great. They use Boar's head deli products. Their potato salad, a rotating side, was the best I've ever had. Great... selection of desserts available to eat in or ready to go. Fantastic service! The server went above and beyond to ensure that myson wasn't served anything that contained one of his many allergens. Read more
This place is PHENOMENAL! I went for a sister trip to The Inn at Tabbs Creek and we took a day trip to tour this cute town of... Gloucester and found this gem to eat lunch. From the decor, the music but mostly, THE FOOD. I had a great sandwich on pretzelbread suggested by the waitress! YUM. But I loved the eclairs so much I went back after walking the town and ordered two more togo. The best I've ever had. I'm here on the website now to see if they will delivery to Northern VA. Iced latte and pasta salad were delicious & the staff was kind and professional for our ?curbside pickup.? The food and drinks... were ready before our quoted time & the waitress made sure we had plenty of napkins & utensils for our Togo. The steak wrap wasa big no, the wrap was soggy and the chunks of flavorless beef were way too big and off-putting. I would return again but Iwould order something different. Read more
If you are hungry, GO HERE! I went in to get something from the bakery (we'll get to that in a minute) and decided to have... lunch. It was SO good! My bread was perfectly toasted, home grown tomatoes, 3 kinds of meat, the perfect amount of condiments,yummy cheese, (are you on your way yet? You should be) Then there's the bakery. They have all kinds of yummy sweets. I got thesticky bun and it was unlike any sticky bun I've ever had. It was Huge and coated in nuts and some sort of glaze with cinnamonand Carmel. Wow, just wow!
