Service was good once they did their changeover. The portions were huge, but the eggs on my husband's plate were burned, and... chorizo had no flavor. My food was ok, the scrambled eggs did taste a bit overdone but I didn't really mind. What I did mind wasthat the toast tasted like propane! The potatoes and bacon were really good though. We would consider coming back, maybe justnot for breakfast. Read more

Oh my goodness- we just finished brunch! Absolutely AMAZING! Everything homemade from the Bloody Mary mix to the pickles. I had... the homemade pimento cheese plate with local Padows ham, homemade toasted bread slices with a local spring salad! An appetizerenough for a table of 4! My husband had the chorizo scrambled eggs- with 1/2 of an avocado, sour cream & fresh tomatoes! Theatmosphere and music are wonderful in the back at the bar- beautiful deck outside. The bartender is so attentive and so proud ofthis restaurant! Chef has received accolades for his work. Read more

The food is high quality and tasty albeit a tad expensive for the location. The interior lighting is much improved since it's... opening making for a much better ambience. The piano player is a lovely touch! Read more

Came to brunch with my daughter and son in law. Both were former chefs so when they want to try a place, I'm in! SIL ordered... Huevo Ranchero, superb! The chimuchuri was classic. Chicken and waffles, definitely recommending. Very juicy and huge portion. The shrimp and grits came out unexpectedly soupy. Not sure if intentional?? The shrimp bang bang as appetizer is a must have. Read more

Ordered the Farmasea Breakfast with sausage, 2 eggs over easy. The sausage was like Italian sausage & not cooked on a grill more... like steamed or microwaved causing the dish to be extra greasy. No toast on the plate, 1 egg well fried. Not good. The Chicken &Waffles could have been really good if the grease that was used was fresh & not shared with other food that is fried. We ordereda virgin bloody Mary that came in a huge glass $4 & a margarita served in a champagne glass $11. I have never received a mixeddrink that cost so much in such a small glass. Our waitress delivered our food and literally disappeared. We waited & waited. Wenever saw her at all. About 45 minutes later she appeared and we checked out. We always tip really well but on this day...not somuch. We won't go back. Read more

Very nice atmosphere! There is a piano player in the main dining room playing nice dinner tunes. We started out with the Apple &... Pecan salad and the Butternut Squash salad. Both were very good. We followed with the Scallops over homemade pasta andvegetables along with the Puppy Drum over oyster polenta. Both were very unique and upscale for this area and tasted very good. The drink menu has some good selections that we took advantage of. We finished off with the lemon cheescake and chocolatepumpkin cheesecake... both yum delish! The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. The pricing is upscale for the area butworth it to have another nice restaurant in Gloucester. We will definitely be back! Read more
