This is my first time ordering from this place I have ordered from others around this area and was disappointed. I am from now... on only ordering food from bucks they are very nice over the phone and to top it off I received my order I ordered a hoagiegarlic knots and cinasticks along with a 2 liter of root beer..THEIR FOOD IS AMAZING!!! Ordered from here once, small pizza and luke warm wings for 30$ seemed to be bit pricey. After eating 2 slices and a few wings... my wife and I had the same thought. Was it worth it? And honestly it wasn't, For 30$ we could have gone to Applebee's. The staffare friendly and they work really hard to stay alive in a pizza abundant town. ordered an 8 cut pizza & a dozen wings. Total came out to 30$ with tax, I was a bit surprised but expected a decent sized... pizza. Pizza was 10? (like personal sized, so small!) & was really undercooked, super doughy. Mushrooms were canned & not at allcooked. Really disappointing. Wings were good but again, small. When I moved back to the area, the only thing I was excited about in town was certain eateries and Al's was at the top of the... list. I have fond memories of eating the Sicilian-style pizza as a child and then as an adult, out on my own before I movedaway. Coming back at almost 50, I was just hoping the food would kind of be the same, but it was like a taste of childhood. Thepizza is the best I've found in Gloversville and Al's is still Al's. Either you're a local and know the spot, have been toldabout the spot, or did a search online because they pizza shop itself has no sign to lead the way. Buck's is our go-to for either pick-up or delivery. They're always pretty tight on their time estimates and the prices are... pretty decent. Quality is pretty consistent with an occasional "extra crunch" but livable crust. Read more
My friend swears by Bucks pizza is being the best around but because I'm not really a pizza eater I don't think that it's the... best compared to other restaurants nearby. What I thought wasn't good is that they raise the price so high that they arecomparable to everyone else. It used to be $6 for a large pizza and now it's almost $20. Read more
