Just picked up the Swiss Chalet Festive Special half chicken dinner. Was really looking forward to it. Big disappointment.... Chicken was dry on the insided, greasy on the outside and did not smell right. Bread roll was covered in grease in the box. Thestuffing smelled off and tasted worse. I've seen better looking cat food. Did not receive the chalet dipping sause either. Frieswere the only good thing. Hoping I don't get sick from this. Read more

These hard working people deserve a raise! They are understaffed and still give exceptional service. They were slammed when I... arrived but they still got us our food in a timely manor. Even though the dining room couldn?t remain open temporarily the staffhandled the situation with grace. Will definitely be back. Read more

UPDATE.. Thank you for looking into this Harvey's; however, i have no interest in your survey... I've filled one out before... (for Swiss Chalet) and was a total waste if time. Ive found that Google surveys produce better results in rectifying complants.I should note that the rest of the meal was good. No one in the restaurant (4:20pm... looking back... it probably was aclue...) when I came in, yet every table was dirty (Napkins and crumbs/salt clearly visible with the sun shining in). The floorwas dirty with burger toppings, fries etc . I could understand this if it was busy, but it was litterally empty. 1st order offries we got were cold (they did apologize, however, when there is only 2 working, how can you not be aware of when they werecooked) The bun I got with my Chalet meal was like rubber. Waiting in line at the drivethru over 20 minutes for 2 chicken burgers only to be told that they had no chicken burgers and did... we want something else. If we had been told when we ordered, we would have just left but unable to do that when in line and nowe didn't want something else or we would have ordered something else. Needless to say, supper was late. Definitely not a verysatisfied customer. Read more

Good fast food. Stopped in here on the way to the river in the middle of July. We had planned on eating inside since we had our... elderly grandmother with us, but the inside was closed due to being short on staff. There was an outdoor patio area to eat at,but there were no shaded areas. They are being very accommodating to truckers and will take your walk up order at the window.Food was served hot and was tasty, but I found it odd that my chicken sandwich had shredded lettuce on it instead of a leaf,making it pretty messy to eat. Working near this harvey's, i rely on them regularly for my lunch breaks. and they have not disappointed yet!! despite the short... staff, they always make sure i have my food in a timely fashion, which means a lot to me. Avoid at all costs. This place does not practice safe food handling practices nor do they treat their customers well or talk to... them at all. Made a delivery order that included spring rolls. I've had them here before and at other Swiss chalets and theylooked fine. When I opened it I was shocked. How did anyone in their right mind think that that is an acceptable way to givefood to the customer?? It's burnt to blackness and there are pieces missing. We tried calling several times at 7pm and noanswer. We drove to the restaurant which was closed at 7:30pm and we had to go through drive through which took 20 minutes withonly 2 cars ahead of us. When we informed them about what happened there was no apology. When we got the new spring rolls theycame in a different black box that wasn't see through and the person giving it to us didn't say a word and closed the windowright away. I opened them as we were driving away and realized they did the same thing with the new batch. We came back againand the lady at the drive through speaker was very annoyed and said that that is how they cook them but she will take them outearly she guesses. What in the world?? You close an hour early with no information about it on the website and produce terriblequality dishes while not accepting your fault at all. Never again will we eat here. Read more
