Had dinner there Saturday night. We got a seat at the last minute, which was quite kind. It did seem, though, that things were... rushed, but these days, maybe it's just hard finding enough staff. Anyway, we ordered the kid's pizza, the escargot, the lambburger, and the sacchetti pasta. The pizza was a little cardboardy, and came with fries, which seemed like a lot of starch.Still, the six-year old liked it. The escargot were okay, but tasted as if they had been prepared a while earlier, and theyweren't quite heated back up all the way. My wife said the burger was pretty good. I liked the pasta quite a lot, with the richmushroom taste (although the accompanying bread was a little doughy). At the end, this all came to around $130 (with onecocktail, a beer, and an okay dessert). I guess that's what you pay these days. I just wish the food had been prepared a littlebetter. Read more

Peter and his team at Part II catered our wedding last weekend. They did an outstanding job and the food was amazing. They were... all very friendly and professional and made the whole process seem easy; not once in the night did I worry about the flow of thefood or service. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for someone to cater an event or a go to place for beautifuldinner! Read more

I ate here last summer for the first time as they have vegetarian options and I was with a vegetarian. The food then was yummy.... So, naturally, i decided that on my birthday while on a solo trip of self pampering, i decided to stop in. I had the pear saladwith shredded chicken ( I have to have it shredded ). Just as it was last year, it was delicious. Dessert was coconut aranciniballs. I had them last year and I love them so much! I had a virgin drink of lime and pineapple juices in a glass rimmed in saltand coconut. I will be back when I return to Goderich next year. Read more

It looks like a beautiful spot and the food sounded delicious, prices looked reasonable, but this review is completely based on... the service and atmosphere as we ended up walking out. My mom had reserved a table. We arrived and as a waiter passed us at thedoor he asked if we had a reservation, my mom said yes and gave her name, he pointed at a table and hurried away so we went andsat down. We were seated next to a table that had an incredibly loud and obnoxious guest (not the restaurant?s fault obviously). After 5 minutes a waitress put 4 glasses of water on our table and walked away without saying a word. We sat there for another10 minutes in which time a waitress came to the table next to us twice but didn?t bother with our table at all. We would haveliked to at least have ordered drinks. We walked out and went across the square to a lovely little pub with very attentive andfriendly service and were able to actually order drinks and food. Read more

Peter... was a pleasure to work with and was very accommodating to our requests and dietary needs. From planning the menu, to ourtasting, to the day off - everything went so smoothly. The food was absolutely amazing, everyone LOVED their meal and people arestill raving about it. The serving staff was awesome too! We highly recommend Part II Bistro. We attended their restaurant forour wedding tasting and it is a lovely environment! We truly can't wait to go back. Read more

The best service and food in town. Met the owners too and they treated us like gold. Being from out of town, they treated us... like family. Read more

Visiting townand this was our first dinner out from recommendations in a tour guide. It was busy when we arrived but still got a... table. We ordered the duck and steak entree specials. We received two duck plates. The server was confused and took one backsaying she must have grabbed the wrong one. I waited to dig in but my partner said to go ahead. Seconds took minutes and itbecame uncomfortable. No one came out to give an update. 10 mins later which seemed much longer the steak plate was served. Itwas steaming hot so definitely it was fresh made. I wish I had ordered the steak! It looked and tasted far better. The duck wastough and chewy. Embarrassing when you have to pull pieces out of your mouth. The risotto was not done...very grainy. The steakwas tender and a little more rare than medium rare but it was tasty and a great portion. In the end the original waitresscollected our bill when she told us she removed our ice teas for the mix up. That was an appreciated gesture. Our bill came to$80 without beverages. That is near $40 an entree! I was surprised and for what it was I would have expected a lot more. Read more

Good selection of draft and canned craft beers. We shared a delicious pear salad. Greek chicken thighs, and salmon dish, were... both delicious. Creme brulee perfect. Would definitely return. Street parking, large patio setup. Super friendly service. Read more
