Never liked or trusted hot food items from any Gas Station type place much in the past. However, Casey's is very different! ... We now live by the one on Delmar in Godfrey. The food is very, very reasonable and it's always GREAT! Nice menu selection andnever a long wait. Pizza, sandwiches, breakfast items, etc., all excellent every time! I placed a order for a pizza online for door dash I got a text message saying they confirmed my order about 6 minutes later I... got another text message saying the store canceled my order cause the store was closed! I was so hungry and I ordered unknowing that the kitchen closed early. The girl working called and told me they closed... everything down and I explained my husband just got off work and was hungry and I apologized for not knowing and she opened upand made sure she fulfilled our order. I had used some caseys cash I saved on my app. I had already redeemed it. Absolutelyfriendliest woman I have encountered yet at caseys and the gentleman in the kitchen only made one of the two pizzas by accidentand didn't get upset about having to make the second one. I am finally finished doing business with this location. The current manager and staff are often rude and lack the ability to... provide even mediocre customer service. They have messed up my lottery five of my last six visits, never seem to know when thePepsi deliveries will arrive, and insist on giving me crumpled up one dollar bills as change. When they gave me 10 ones earliertonight I asked for two fives or a $10 bill and the young lady at the counter asked the manager and she said no. I hope thatdecision on not swapping a $10 bill or two $5.00 bills was worth the net neutral monetary value at the time, because it will benet negative from now on when I take my gas, Lottery and snack/beverage business elsewhere. Casey?s is one of the things I missed the most when I was living away from Illinois. This location is great, staff is friendly... and maintain the store nicely. The pizza is fantastic and love that they cut it into 12 slices. Read more
At 1:00 pm on 6/1/17, I called to the Godfrey, Il. Store to order a pizza for pick up. The lady answering the phone said " I... have deliveries to put away and so I am not making pizza's today". She was very rude about it and did not wait for me torespond, she just hung up. Wow! Glad I was passing through, because if I lived there I would not patronize this store. Rude! Read more
