I come here often, since I live in Gold Bar, When I have visitors at my house, Mountain View Diner is my first choice. The eggs... Benedict are excellent and the homemade pies are irresistable. There are a variety of dishes and all are delicious. The staffare always friendly and efficient. Read more

Impromptu date brought us here. The mozzarella sticks were fried to perfection, the breading was super light. She had the clam... strips and fries, and i had the hot roast beef on potato bread with mashed potatoes and gravy. Pros: fast service, amazingmozzarella sticks with a delicate breading, large portions, homemade gravy, lumps and all! (Yum!), pour sugar on the tableinatead of sugar packets (yay!), and an old school pie display turner which we loved, clean restrooms. Cons: coagulatedcocktail sauce (bizarre!), gravy was slightly bland, no refills were offered (not sure if that was their policy or if she justdidn't offer it). We enjoyed it for the most part and will definitely go back. Read more

The wait seemed a lot longer than expected? Maybe I was that Hungary, but either way the food was great!

Stopped here on a Tuesday about 11am. The diner was half full and the phone kept ringing with call in orders. 1 waitress, 1 bus... boy busting it the whole time. My coffee was kept full and our breakfast was amazing, plentiful and hot. Best breakfast servicewe have had since before covid lock down. Read more

Stopped in here on the way home from a backpacking trip. I got the Florentine omelette with hash browns and a chocolate shake.... The portions are large, just what I wanted after a strenuous weekend of hiking. The food was good enough, but nothing tospecial. The three star rating is for the sub-par service. The diner was not busy when we were there, fewer than half of thetables were occupied. There were several young girls, a young man, and a middle aged woman working the dining room. We wereserved by the older woman, who was maybe just having a bad day. She was short with us the entire meal and acted put out when weasked her to split the check. She certainly did not go above and beyond in any respect and would not engage in banter, as youwould expect in a diner. Also, there were several signs asking for patience due to understaffing. There's nothing wrong withthat, but the signs had a little passive-aggressive statement on the bottom about people not wanting to work for a living. That's a total turnoff. Read more

By FAR one of the better diner's I've ever been to. It was small enough to be a cozy local Diner, you don't have those too much... anymore. The wait staff was very attentive, took our order nearly straight away. The pie rack sitting in the middle of the Dineris very tempting, so I got myself some pecan pie (they make it there) and it was the perfect end to my experience. Worthstopping in if you're passing through. Read more

My husband and I stopped in to The Mountain View Diner on our way to Leavenworth. The diner is simple and clean the staff fast... and friendly but the best thing about this place is the amazing food! We were both thrilled with our breakfast. The biscuits andgravy were amazing the hash browns were delicious and the portions were HUGE! Definitely worth a stop! Read more
