While we were staying at Cedar House Chalets and dropped in for dinner after skiing and were blown away! The food was delicious... and the portions were filling. A superb meal all the way beginning from salads and ending on duck wild boar.
Wow. Just wow. The chef knows what he is doing! I had the duck with smashed potatoes, green beans and tri-color carrots. Hubby... had the Bbq Ribs. We are foodies, so we are happy to have found the Cedar House restaurant! The chef also had just preparedTiramisu for dessert and it was the best that we have ever had! Singer,songwriter Gorden James from the Okanagan Valley wasperforming for the restaurant. He was awesome too! We arrived just as they were opening, so i was able to take photos withoutdisturbing anyone. A 2 minute walk down a trail and STEPS leads you to a MILLION dollar view of the beauty of GOLDEN, BC. Amazing service, beautifuly presented food, a gem, worth the drive from Golden
They have everything you need in the chalet and it really makes me feel at home. The view is incredible and the hot tub is a... bonus! Lovely cabins. Peaceful setting. Comfy bed. Spacious rooms. Gorgeous views. Couldn't get a reservation for a time we wanted to... eat at the restaurant so ate in town which is only a few minutes drive away. Lots of mosquitoes so be prepared! Read more
The views are spectacular as was the lobster fondue. Our entree's - lamb shank, pretty good, the pasta was good. Desserts at $10... tasted good but scimpy serving for that price. Would be 5 stars if the price matched the food. Service was great. PreferEleven22 in town. Read more
