What an awesome place to eat! The atmosphere is cozy and the food is delicious. We were out celebrating my lady's birthday and... were impressed by the entire experience. We didn't have a reservation but Michelle made sure we felt welcomed and at home. Herdish recommendations were spot on and she made the night extra special with a lovely birthday dessert at the end. The food here was amazing. We picked this place out on short notice passing through Golden and it turned out to be such a gem.... You walk in and see the team of folks cooking and immediately know you picked the right spot when the smell hits you. We had thefondue and the daily cannaloni (black angus/spinach with balsamic drizzle that night). I never do fine dining, and i would saythis place is as close to fine dining as you can get without entering the realm of "fine dining" pricing. This is the perfect spot to have a lovely meal. I was definitely under-dressed. Reservations are recommended. If it's summer,... ask to sit outside. We had the Duck Shepherds Pie and Mennonite Sausage and mash. They also have a nice kids menu. Our daughterhad the pizza. If you get there between 5-6, you can take advantage of the early bird specials. Highly recommend this restaurantif you're in Golden. Read more
This is the gem in Golden. I say this is the best place to dine in Golden . It is a bit pricy but thats totally worth it.... Especially when you visit Golden and look for a restaurant like in the cities . This is the best. First thing that captured uswere the amazing servers . Very friendly and effecient . Very welcoming . My boyfriend and I have been traveling from Vancouver this past week and this is by far the best restaurants we had been to. The... cocktails were strong and tasty, food were fabulous, especially the corn chowder and the duck shepherds pie! The staff were veryfriendly and efficient! We had a great time! What a great place! My husband and I came for the early dinner and you can?t get better tasting food or value for the... price. Starter of bread, choice of appetizer, entree and dessert. The entree was a very generous portion anddelicious. Service was also fantastic. With the shortages everywhere, we were pleasantly surprised with how friendly, attentiveand great our server was.
