While it may have a ?hole-in-the-wall? appearance, the food is excellent. I should have taken photo?s, but I was so overcome... with enjoying the experience I simply forgot. First off, the ambience is typical of a modern dining experience that?s focused oncurating a coziness to hang out with friends (or a date). The food presentation was good, neither overly simplistic or pompous.For a sushi joint, it had the variety of plate offerings one would expect. The food tasted great, even with a spicy-jalapeñostyled roll that I didn?t initially have high expectations for. And pricing is consistent for a similarly styled sushi bar. Myonly criticism is the parking which is nothing new for CO these days. Overall a great place that I would frequent if I lived intown! Would definitely recommend it to someone looking for sushi!!! This has been my favorite sushi place forever. The all you can eat option is great to quench any sushi binge needs. That... smaller menu has plenty of options. The full menu is excellent as well, I have had the tempura a few times and it wasgood. The rolls are superb, I guess everything I have had here has been superb. Read more
The Tonkotsu Ramen was absolutely spectacular and I'm very hard to please. I'm still shocked at how delicious it was and I'm so... glad I ordered it. The chicken katsu was tasty and cooked to a crispy perfection. Even the California rolls we ordered for thekids were good! We will be back!!! Read more
This place is awesome. I've had Japanese food and sushi all over the world, including Japan. This isn't the best I've had, but... it's in the top section of the class. The all you can eat option is pretty good for $30, and I love that you can get salad,soup, and appetizers like gyoza with that option. The Nigiri is always fresh and I really like the red snapper cuts. The onlything I would say is I wish you could get like "x" amount of sashimi. I get that rice is cheap and you want people to fill upon it, but I feel like it's almost cheating the great fish by forcing the rice to be eaten with it all the time. If I maysuggest, simply limit it by allowing people to get a maximum of 6 pieces of sashimi or something. We are from Michigan but liveup in the mountains about half the winter; we make it a point to eat here every trip, we drive down the hill to specifically eatat your restaurant, and we bring friends from out of town when they visit. Feeling pretty lucky that we can walk from our house to this awesome sushi joint. The nigiri was amazing, and the spicy tuna... roll was my favorite. A go to for us, they also have a great takeout deal. 10/10 Read more
Terrible sushi buffet, would not recommend. Is mostly rice, above 60-80% compressed soggy rice. Does not offer sashimi, and the... Nigiri Salmon was fresh and good quality fish, but the fish to rice ratio was terrible. You don't get to enjoy the fish becauseof the significant quanity of rice. Will charge you extra for not eating the pile of soggy rice on top of $30 a person.Disappointed considering we seen some really good looking sushi in the menu and reviews. Read more
Great service, attentive servers. Good variety of drinks, nice music. The prices are reasonable. All you can eat as of this... writing was $30. You can also purchase a la kart. Good selection overall. Our "beef" is that the tempura sushi was heavy on therice and not a lot of meat/filler. We found that we were filling up on rice. If you don't mind rice or you buy one of theirnon-sushi items, you'll be fine. If you want sushi with more filling, this place may not be for you. Read more
