I lived in Goldsboro for about 5 yrs and didn't discover Barrique until I came back a year later. We go everytime. The burger... is delicious, the margaritas are just right and you need to get the truffle fries. It's a small place to eat but I think it's ahidden gem. Perfect for a really nice date night. My friend and I actually ate at the 18th Ammendment Lounge which is located upstairs above Barrique. I think the restaurant was... booked for a private event. Nevertheless, everything was wonderful. From the cocktails, the appetizer to the entree... wecouldn't have been happier! Started slow with their award winning fried green tomatoes. I was skeptical, but they really werefantastic. So good that I forgot to take a photo. The tomatoes were so good that we decided to stay for dinner. We split theiceberg salad and the Mahi Mahi. We sat at the bar and the service was great. I forgot her name but she was charming andattentive. If there's anything at all that could have been improved upon... the fried green tomatoes were cold by the time wegot them. The bartender was definitely stretched thin and I think they may sat for a bit while she juggled multiple tables whilerunning up and down the stairs. I'll definitely be back! Read more
