As soon as we entered, we were greeted to sit where we preferred. The server (a young middle-aged female) took our beverage &... food order in an orderly manner. My pancakes, WOW, were the roundest I've ever been served. So delicious. The breakfast wasincredible. I highly recommend Dee's in Goldsboro, NC. to all. Read more

It was fine. There was nothing noteworthy at all. Service took a while because it?s one of those ?seat yourself? places, so if... they don?t see you walk in, you have to flag down your server. Everything else was? ok. Read more

Walked into Dee?s Diner in Goldsboro, NC, I did not know what to expect. Of course, this was my first dinning experience. The... restaurant reminded me of a cafeteria without the buffet. There were weekday specials with other options on the menu. Theservice was My meal consisted of the Wednesday?s special: Baby Back Ribs (pork) served with yam soufflé and tossed salad alongwith a dress of sweet tea. The ribs were extremely tender and tasty; the yam soufflé could have been a little hotter andsweeter as well as some of the sweet potatoes could have been mashed up more; the salad tasted good. My strawberry cake wasamazing. Overall, my dinning experience is good. I would visit again. Read more

Dee's Diner is great food, and a great atmosphere. It's good Southern food with the great Southern hospitality that everyone... always talks about. Everyone knows everyone there, and if you don't, then you will. You're made to feel at home with some goodhome cooking made with love. You don't find many places like this anymore, and it's unfortunate. Dee's is great and I can't waitto go back for some of their specials. Read more

First time in, but will definitely not be my last. Ever go somewhere and just feel at home, well THIS place gave me that... feeling. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our waitress checked in on us often, even though we were sitting outside andshe was working tables inside and out. Even the other customers coming in and out were friendly and striked up someconversations with us. We had the shrimp basket with must try onion rings. Add the fried pickles to the must try list as well!Everything was amazing double bacon cheeseburger, okra, the chili fries. Just try it all, you won't be sorry! Read more

Had a really nice meal of excellent pot roast with potatoes and carrots plus 2 veg sides of okra and turnip greens with tea and... rolls for under $10. No complaints on mine. My friend had tea, rolls, meat loaf, corn and mashed potatoes for the same, alltax included for under $10. He said his meat loaf was hard and dry but veg were good and fresh. Loved his sweet tea but myunsweet tea was very bitter. We started off with one set of silverware so I got mine from a nearby table. The waitress wasworking hard. I'm not good with names, sorry. I would go back again. Children are welcome and they have a few large tables. It's clean except a little on the floor. The food was hot and fresh a quick. You can have refills on your tea. Parking wasclose but not right outside the door. Read more
