Standard food, standard place, but service was very good. Considering the price, I'd recommend.

Man, you go out and want to have some food after a couple ciders/beers… this is the place to go. Open later than all the... others in old town Goleta, it reminded me of a true Mexican experience. Still closes at 11 pm but that’s 2 hours later thaneverything else in here. First thing getting in: they offer me a beer. That’s what I want to hear. My wait for the food isworth it. I even asked for a couple more tacos after devouring my enchiladas de mole. Today (Friday) the tortillas are evenhandmade. I really appreciate this place ??. Read more

Want home made tortillas late at night this is the spot. Food was great. Except for some reason my last taco was really salty.... Dont know why but besides that great food. Read more

The food was very good and priced decently - surprisingly, however, none of the salsas were nearly spicy enough for me

No consigas los chicharrones. No se parecen en nada a los que he tenido viajando por América Latina. Se supone que los... chicharrones son crujientes y tienen un poco de carne. Eran solo pieles de cerdo empapadas. Don't get the chicarrones. They'renothing like the ones I've had traveling in Latin America. Chicarrones are supposed to be crispy and have a bit of meat on them. These were just soggy pig skins. Gross! UPDATE: My wife is Dominican and used to all kinds of Hispanic foods. She’s in thebathroom throwing up right now after trying to eat just a little bit of that disgusting meal. Read more

Amazing food! Took a chance and ate here on the first day I moved into town. Will definitely be going back and bringing friends... and family. I'm not an expert on Mexican food, but they had all of the staples (tacos, burritos, fajitas, etc) plus some dishesI have never heard of, that I tried and loved! Read more

Authentic family run Mexican food restaurant serving scatch-made classic entrees in a humble yet spacious dining room in the... heart of Old Town Goleta. The Chile Verde was tender and delicious with a depth of flavor that left me pleasantly surprised. Thebeef alambre was beautifully composed and surprisingly savory with the addition of bacon to the usual ingredients. I can't waitto go back and try the homemade chicken mole. Read more
