Always a great experience when I come here. I feel like they?re the best Lebanese restaurant in Baton Rouge and surrounding... areas. Ms. Sheree is always on it and taking care of the customers and Mr. Kamal (Owner ) is always there when we visit andmaking sure everyone is satisfied. Cool little place with a great atmosphere and good service. The prices and portions on the lunch menu will not leave you hungry.... The food was fresh and delicious. I had the gyro and chicken combo. The chicken was a little dry for my taste, but everythingelse was delicious. Will be returning for lunch when I'm in the area. Read more

Kamal's Kafe is a great hidden gem! My husband and I just moved to the area from Houston, and we were hoping to find a... restaurant that wasn't fast food or seafood. Kamal's was cozy; the waitstaff were warm and welcoming, and they were very much ontop of things. The food is delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the hummus, the veggies, and the EGGPLANT SPECIAL especially! I'venever enjoyed anything quite like the eggplant special--it has a Cajun flair with little shrimp on top. It is a must-try. Wealso spoke to the owner, who was very funny and friendly. We enjoyed being able to see the chefs working diligently in the backas well. We are so glad to have this food option in our new town. We will be back soon! Read more

A true diamond in the rough!! This was hands down some of the best middle eastern cuisine I've enjoyed in a long time (if ever).... We just came back From a trip to Houston in which we sampled some of their fare. Kamal's was without a doubt an amazingexperience. The shawarma was so tender! The gyro meat was absolutely delicious. The baba and hummus were spectacular. Everything was so good!!! I highly, highly recommend this local gem. It is worth the drive from anywhere you may be! Read more
