I had heard of this place, and told it was good. The gator was good, but that is about it. Poor service, old burnt fries, shrimp... had cheap batter, the are called jumbo shrimp but those were mini strips of shrimp. I know mexicans are not really welcome bythe way we were put in the corner, and had to ask for anything and treated as a bother but they did take the money. The food was awesome and the staff friendly. I would say great value for what you get. I had the Guitreau and the chargrilled... oysters, both outstanding. I was sat in the patio area as the bar was packed. Great atmosphere as the was a lot less crowded andhad live music. Read more
Love Mike Anderson's! Everything we get is always so good!! This time I had the peach belini martini, yum! The fried green... tomatoes with crab(you get 4 big ones!) My bf had the shrimp and fish and I had crawfish 7 ways. We were STUFFED. The turtle pieis to die for, Huge and has a layer of ice cream! Very nice find of a restaurant. Really enjoyed all of the dishes. The wait staff are very nice and friendly, they knew the... platters and made great recommendations. The plates were delicious well cooked and well seasoned, not over seasoned. Reallyenjoyed the desserts. Can?t wait to come back and try more of the entrées. Read more
Nice restaurant food was decent, but we waited two hours due to table being given away to a party that just showed up. After... the mix up we were seated in a covered area with a party of 20 plus. Once we sat down we couldn't hear the person across thetable from us. We had to again go to the Manager and Hostess to move us inside. We enjoyed a nice lunch, we each ordered the Cajun Plate. The ice tea with lemonade was very good. Our server was very... friendly and took good care of us. The food was cooked good and served at a good temperature. I really liked the hush puppy! Read more
