Yesterday we went here for the first time. OH MY GOODNESS!!! I can not believe what we have been missing. Upon walking through... the door we were greeted by the sweet smell of freshly made waffle cones. The variety of flavors is unlike anything I have everseen before. I had no idea where to begin. But ended up going with a scoop of cheesecake ice cream in a waffle cone. And what agenerous scoop it was. One of my sons got the same while the other got vanilla with pecans. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Some of thebest Ice Cream I ever had in my life. I also noticed they served nachos and street corn. Well today we went back. I got thestreet corn and my sons got fresh mango sprinkled with TaJin. It was delicious. The place is clean and welcoming. The gentlemanand lady there are super nice and allowed us to taste a few things. This ice cream is rich and creamy not to sweet and willdefinitely satisfy any sweet tooth. This place is an Ice Cream lovers dream. I would highly recommend a visit to Popaletas inGonzales, Louisiana. You will not be disappointed. Read more

This is the 2nd time I found a piece of hair in my fruit & cream!! After the 1st time it took me months to eat here again. I... decided to give them another chance and I regret doing so. Beyond disgusted!!! Manager needs to enforce employees to wear hairnets for this very reason! My husband and I will no longer be eating here and the manager as well as corporate will be getting aphone call! Unacceptable. Read more
The best homemade Ice Cream that I have tasted in a very long time. The services are very good and you will be surprised at the... amount of ice cream you get for 1 scoop. I even went back two days later and yes they changes out the flavors. I recommend thisplace for a good birthday treat or a special treat of any kind.
