Food was good and Patti Melt our waitress was nice but she was busy picking up food when we went to cash out. The waitress... Samantha made us wait while she finished all of her dishes before checking us out and even then didn't even speak until sheneeded to know about our receipt. we sat down and table was sticky, so I asked the server with the red hair did she have a towel because we needed the table... wiped. She threw a towel at me and said here you go and made me wipe the table. I figured it had probably been a day for her,but the cook's food looked amazing so ignore it. But then she brings the drinks and slams them on the table and walks away. I'mnot one to write a bad review, but I've been in the restaurant business over 20 years and get people have off/ bad days, butnever have I seen or had a server with so much hatred for their table. We did not even stay, I knew if we did, it would'vegotten even worse. we left, stopped at the waffle house in Gardendale with a server with a better attitude. Read more
I've been very disappointed in all my Waffle House experiences for the past several years, but my hope has been renewed and joy... returned to my heart thanks to my latest visit! Jen provided great service despite what had apparently been a rough night. Butof course, it all would mean nothing if not for the absolutely delicious and PERFECTLY prepared food provided by chef Melodywith her genuine smile and warm personality! We are visiting from out of state for a wedding and stopped to get breakfast. Peggy was our waitress and was super amazing.... Excellent service. Update , came back here three days later on our way back from our stay at the lake. Peggy was not there .Where art thou Peggy? We miss your exceptional service and friendliness. Great atmosphere. Food was cooked perfectly. They were really busy but yet did an awesome job at expediting food and correctly.... For a Sunday at 12:30pm I was stoked at how the cook was knocking out the orders like a walk in the park. Thank you for thegreat service and awesome food. Great waitress. The food was ok. I loved my waffles but our eggs were too soft it was like chewing gerber baby food. I think the... place could use a good cleanup. We normally love this Waffle House and is the only one we go to. Today we came in sat at a dirty table that?s fine our choice... but when we sit for 15 minutes when the waitress walks past us multiple times and asks the people beside us if they neededanything and then just stood in front of us and didn?t say anything or wipe our table down that?s all it need was to be wipeddown.
