I want to start by saying the front staff was very friendly. The server was nice. My drink was good. The sushi and salad were... yummy. The soup was very bland. The worst part of this experience was the chef. He plopped the sauses in the ramekins causingit to splash on the table...he was NOT friendly...barely seasoned any of the food and burned most of the veggies. It's too badhe had such a bad attitude. Ruined our whole experience with this place. We were the only two at our hibachi table (not ourfault). He did even so much as twirl his spatula. When you pay good money, you expect a pleasant time. Waitresses were awesome!! Chef had no "show" at all. Food had no flavor until I added the yum-yum sauce to it. Had to ask for... all sauce items from the chef, he did not offer any. Floor sticky. Like shoes sticking while walking. Ladies room stall locksnot all intact, as I walked in on someone. Paper towel rolls out about two inches of towel, and soap was empty. Very sad. We have been going to this restaurant since it was built and it USED to be a great place to dine with excellent food,... great service and atmosphere. It has been going the wrong way for a few years now. Our son wanted to go there tonight tocelebrate his 21st birthday. Wow what a disappointment. They have gotten cheap all the way down to the spoons. Our so calledchef was a joke, zero personality and told us he didn't have the time to get us what we ordered. When the manager finally wentand got the rice that we ordered he just mixed it with already cooked food and slapped it cold and tasteless on our plates. Ourkids meal would still be in the back if we hadn't asked for it after everyone else had been cooked for. Had to ask for watersince the server never came back around. Manager also doesn't care. After talking to him he said I will have a talk with him andthat was his solution to poor service, a rude chef and poor tasteless food. Sad but we will never be going back again. I don't really write bad reviews, but, my experience was a little rough. The food was okay, our chef at the hibachi wasn't... really in the right headspace (had no interaction with us.) The sushi I had, tasted old, the pork belly I had was rough, and Iwas genuinely mixed. The kicker of this review, however, when I brought my leftovers home. I opened the container to season therice a little more to my liking...I seen bugs running around on the top of my food. ???? Read more

We used to go all the time & would always get great service & the food would never disappoint. But it’s really gone downhill... the last couple of years! We quit going after some bad experiences… Recently came again for a friends birthday dinner & sad tosay it hasn’t gotten any better… The service was terrible & food quality was shockingly bad for how much they’re chargingnow! I liked Kabutos when I first tried it. Food is good and very flavorful. Alcohol drinks were good too. I’ve ate inside 2/3... times with friends/family….. But this is my 3rd to go order for hibachi steak and the meat was 85% fat/hard to chew & pinkwasn’t well done and I couldn’t even eat it. I would just order the chicken or shrimp. The portion size for the meat in my dish was very lacking for the price. The rice was way over cooked and there was a sea of... grease on the plate. I was sick almost immediately after leaving and required several bathroom trips. The restaurant itselfcould use a face-lift and some pride to its appearance inside. Not worth the money. Read more
