Not very fond of this location. Today 9/14, customer service was poor. No greeting upon arriving. I asked if my To-Go order was... ready (it was promised in about 25 min. I arrived 35 min later to allow them more time) and the young guy there had a straightface, he asked the kitchen staff came back and told me. It was another 10 min! It was two items! Don?t go here if you?re on yourway to work! Turtles move faster than their staff, which to me means no respect for customer?s time. If you don?t enjoy yourjob, please move on. Great Customer service is a skill that many businesses here in AZ like this one lacks. Make sure to greetand thank your customers because thanks to us, your job exists. Oh yeah, please make sure you provide proper utensils for thetype of food ordered, especially after I ask if everything was in the bag. It takes two seconds to double check the bag. Read more
We went there on a Saturday around 3 pretty busy but service was fast. Establishment was clean and the server was attentive,... food was delicious, and the serving size were good. If you get the edamame 2-3 people can share that easily. Read more
When arriving to the restaurant there?s a nice ambience inside with an adequate amount of seating for it being a Tataki... express. There was only one table seated and already eating their meal. I placed an order for two spicy salmon rolls from thetraditional side of their menu. My two rolls took a a while to be brought to my table. When the roles were brought to me Inoticed that one was a spicy salmon roll and the other one was a tuna roll. At this point the cashier notices that I am lookingat my sushi strangely and asked if one of them was different which it was. At this point after touching the sushi roll they tookback the order to the sushi counter. A few minutes later my other spicy salmon was brought to me. When looking at my nowcomplete order I noticed that the sushi rolls were completely squished and we?re almost at the shape of triangles instead of thetraditional circular form. The taste of the sushi was nothing to write home about as I can only compare it to meeting thestandard of your typical grocery store sushi bar. Unfortunately it will be a while before I give this restaurant another chanceand I am unable to recommend it to others. Read more
The main El Tataki place in Avondale i love but this one i didn?t really like. Maybe it was because we got to go, but anyway, i... didn?t really enjoy the sushi here though. I would give it a try again & eat there instead of take out to see if it makes adifference. Food came out fairly quick Read more
Food was amazing!!! My favorite sushi spot so far everything was made fresh. Ordered to go and it was still warm and crunchy due... to it being fried, was not soggy and cold like most places. Definitely will order again. Read more
