The food here is amazing! Rudy's country store and barbecue is so confident you will love their food that they offer samples... before you buy! I went in for brisket but when I tasted the tender, juicy, and smokey turkey, I had to get that as well. Themeats here are sold by the pound and you can buy however much you want. They do not sell "meals" for one price; everything is ala carte. You buy exactly what you want in the quantity you want. If you're a brisket lover, definitely go for the "moistbrisket"! It is so well marbled and flavorful and it melts in your mouth. If you're going for less fat, they also have a leanbrisket that costs $2 less a pound, but for me, brisket must be marbled. The fat adds to the flavor and it is smoked so wellthat it mostly melts right into the meat. The creamed corn tastes fresh from the cob and thickly creamy. I didn't try any ofthe cold sides or the desserts. I will definitely be going back here again! Read more

Ordered 3/4 pound of LEAN brisket. The first time he set down straight fat. I asked for more lean. The next attempt was not much... better and no bark/no flavor. I eat at the Chandler location weekly and I know the standards and what we got was notright. Needless to say I only ate my beans and left. 100% will not be back. Sad representation of Rudy?s. Wonderful job on the food. This was the first time we have visited Rudy's and we will be visiting again. The brisket sandwich... was absolutely outstanding. The loaded baked potato with brisket was phenomenal. It is hard to find a great quality smokehouse but I would definitely recommend that if anyone is craving something absolutely outstanding they should go to Rudy's. Read more

It's going to be a while till we meet again, Rudy's... Came here on a Saturday afternoon for a catered birthday party. Since... "moist brisket" didn't appear in the serving line, we went out and ordered a pound and a half for $40. Excitedly, we returnedto the party with our beefy treasure which garnered longing glances from around the room. Unfortunately our joy was shortlived, as it didn't provide the same delight as the last time we ordered it. The meat was tougher and we ended up with a thirdof a pound of gross fat, not the perfectly rendered marbling we expected. Waste of money. Should have stuck with the partybuffet. Read more

It's got a fast food type of vibe. You have to stand in line to order. They give you a tray with your food on it and there are... no plates or silverware. All sides are charged for separately and meat is sold only by weight. Your food is served on paper andutensils are plastic sitting wide open in buckets that anyone and everyone can touch and handle. Nowadays I prefer my plasticutensils to be sealed or handed to me with my order. You seat yourself on picnic style tables and I have no idea if they havebeen cleaned since the last guest. Even without a pandemic I would like to know that where I eat has been kept clean. I had themoist brisket which was more expensive than the lean brisket. My girlfriend had the lean and honestly, the lean was better. Themoist simply had chunks of fat and some jus spread over it. Overall I felt it was marginally better than other quick-serve BBQchains but did not compare with sit-down BBQ restaurants in ambiance, cleanliness, or quality of food. It was a 25 minute drivefor us to get to the location. If we were in the area we might stop again to give it another chance, but I don't think I wouldmake a special trip to go back again. Read more

Love it! We lived in San Antonio where Rudy's is from for years and have missed it, but wait no longer we found it out here! We... were surprised that they had some different sides than we used to have in Texas, but they still have their best item: thecreamed corn! Absolutely love their sausage, and brisket too. Don't recall them carrying pulled pork in Texas and got some butit seemed to be mustard based and I wasn't a fan of the flavor. Will for sure be returning! Need to try all the differentoptions now to lol. Read more

This was my first time there, and would eat there again. The food was great, and even forgot to take inital pictures. We got... there during lunch rush and they were quick to move the line. We went as a group and separate orders we got our food veryquickly as well. Menu was easy to read. It was clean for a BBQ place. Even though it has a place to sit and eat its definitelyfast food joint. We ordered the potato with meat options. The moist brisket and pulled pork was great. The sauces weren't spicyat all, I wish would have had more of a kick. Even though it was pricy it was worth it. Read more

First time here and the food was amazing!! I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with potato salad, my husband ordered the brisket... with coleslaw and we shared the jalapeño sausage and for dessert the rice krispie treat. I can see why this place is alwaysbusy. The meat for the pulled pork was so tender, probably the best pulled pork I have ever had. The potato salad was also veryflavorful as far as the jalapeño sausage I wish it actually spicy but still delicious. This place is kept clean, the gentlemanthat works there kept up with cleaning tables and stocking food/ drinks that were going low. I will say, if this place addedmacaroni and cheese and corn bread it would be the best BBQ place in AZ hands down. Read more
