Good food. Good service. All of the servers are friendly. Some of them are slower than average. Some of them are fast and... efficient. A lot of the menus are missing a page or two. So, it helps to check their website menu and be more familiar with whatthey serve. Good location, ambience and seating. Read more
I was pleasantly surprised about the quality of the fish at this unassuming Japanese restaurant. The sushi, sashimi, and rolls... were fresh and delicious...great quality! We had yellowfin tuna, salmon and mackerel sushi with albacore sashimi. The yamiyami roll was amazing with the tuna and shrimp tempura. They also have a full bar and a good selection of sake. Overall the food was amazing. We ordered pot stickers, the Snow White roll and the Dysart roll (pictured). The pot stickers were... decent, the Snow White roll was slightly spicy but delicious and the Dysart was straight amazing. Having the sushi panko friedgave it great texture. The food was fresh and came out quick. I'm only giving 4 stars because the service wasn't that great. Iunderstand being understaffed like most places but I wasn't offered a refill on my drink and was asked by a different waitressif my order had been take yet. First time experience was good. The sushi was good, only the crunchy soft shell crab roll tasted a little fishy. The bento box... had good flavored chicken teriyaki, salad, California roll was good, the tempura was fine. Staff was really nice and helpful.Cucumber roll was good and crunchy and thecuxumber tasted fresh and not rotten. Delux roll was good. Resturant itself was alittle old and run down, the menu I had was pretty disgusting with gooy food spills, ripped plastic pages and crazy bent pages.(They should check them and throw the bad ones out! It makes you think, if this is how they treat their menus and restaurant,how clean is the kitchen area...) Usually I try and take pictures of the whole menu, because I know when I look up a newrestaurant I like to view what the menu is before hand. And it's nice to see the real menu, instead of looking up on arestaurant's website, but this time I didn't bother because it was so gross I didn't want to handle the menu. :( Read more
