Family friendly! Local favorite for many. Several people recommended this location. Just the smell when you opened your car... door makes you hungry. Great selection on the menu board. You can get sandwich platters, meat platters etc. There are cakes inthe cooler and cupcakes by the register. Beer and sodas, water and more. Hush puppies, fried pickles, french fries, differenttypes of cole slaw and pickles, the meat was amazing and the options for BBQ sauce spot on, something for the sweet loverssomething with the vinegar flair and something with a kick. We will be coming back. This was a win for us! Easy to find withdirections or follow the yummy scent. Staff was helpful and friendly and service was quick. Read more

Great little bbq spot. Fast casual ordering experience where you order and get your food then go sit down. The meat was the best... part! The mac n cheese was solid. The potato was decent but I would probably get the baked beans next time. Staff was reallyfriendly. I love supporting these local businesses! Read more

We came here on a Saturday later afternoon, and it took a while to get the food since there were many people in line. Chicken,... sausage link and ribs were okay. Onion rings were not much flavorful. Fried green tomato could be a bit oily but stilldelicious. Overall, I think it?s an average BBQ place. Read more

We all had pork sandwiches with hushpuppies and they were terrific! I have to say they need a better variety of barbecue sauce... though. Most are way too sweet. It's a cute little joint though. Read more

We had a short takeout visit here, but it was easy to tell, this place is great. I love their dining room and the way their... ordering inside is set up - they have a big bar of toppings for different stuff, and their staff is attentive, friendly, andvery helpful. Of course they have all the barbecue essentials, and more! We got pulled pork and brisket, Mac and cheese, greenbeans, and pumpkin muffins. The pulled pork was pretty good - certainly needed plenty of their barbecue sauce, but juicy andfatty. The brisket was awesome - I had a very hard time picking it up with my fork and getting it to stay on there because itwas so tender!! And that?s what you need in a brisket. The max and cheese and green beans were both really good too, and thegreen beans had some tomato in there and extra spice that I loved. The pumpkin muffins were plain and simple, and great. I wouldcertainly come back, hopefully to dine in next time! Read more

Heaven w/ Brisket is definitely a treat. This is not on the menu, but they are willing to customize for a little extra. The... sweet bun is pretty good and compliments the savory proteins. Warning, the fried egg (at least mine) was over easy and makes abit of a mess when you dive in. Of course, it is BBQ and no one should ever expect to stay clean eating BBQ. The fries andpuppies were good, cooked crisp & flavorful. The side of mac salad was also well prepared, with slightly al dente pasta and notoverly swamped in dressing. They are always busy and sometimes a bit of a seek-n-find to get parking. Read more

Traveling from the mountains back to the beach, my family and I passed the Barbeque Exchange and got us in the mood. They have a... great look and friendly staff that were ready to help first timers like us. We had the BBQ sandwich (without the bun) combowhich included coleslaw and drink. The BBQ was good. There were no fireworks or angelic choir busting out in a long note whileclosing my eyes in utter bliss, but it was good. The flavor is not the typical taste that usually attracts me to BBQ. This isnot to say that it is bad, because truthfully it is good. You do not get the traditional deep smokey flavor. What you get is aclean, pure pulled pork that is ready to be bathed with your favorite sauce. They had roughly 5 sauces on the table, none ofwhich really stood out as awesome, but I just kinda chose one I thought was better than the other ones. Even though I cannot saythat the food really stood out in flavor, however, I can say that the quality of the pork was incredible. More times than not Iget a hunk of fat in my barbecue and I cannot stand that. Here you get exactly what you are paying for and that is barbecue. Mywife and I both commented that we did not get a single chunk of fat on our plate. It was all meat, exactly the way I hope to getit everywhere else and rarely do. The Barbecue Exchange could give a lesson on how to serve a quality dish of meat. To behonest, their barbecue is just as good plain as it is with sauce. I have to say the main thing it stands out is the super highquality meat that they give you. Read more
