No vegetarian options. I get it, but getting charged $6.50 for a not very good bun with cheese, pickles, and onions seems... excessive. Partner rated double quarter pounder 2.5 out of 5. Fries and shakes good. $30 for meal was excessive. Service wasdecent. Read more
Right away, this place is PACKED. Normally if I say that about a Mickey D's you'd think just a few people, but nah. There were... about 100 people here, in and out, in the 45 minutes we were there. Didn't help that it was lunchtime, though. The service waspretty quick for being so busy, and this one had the kiosks with the place numbers which made it fantastic! The dining room wasa bit disheveled and the bathrooms were a tiny bit messy, but I give them credit for focusing on the customer's more immediateneeds. Food. Which was good. Hot and fresh. Well, as hot and fresh as McDonald's serves. The soda fountain area, againdisheveled, was working to par. The burgers and fries were really good and tasty/crisp. A lot of staff made everything well. Clean restrooms, friendly staff, and a river on the outside. The atmosphere outside by the river is fine dining level, but... McDonald's affordable. Best stop over for long drives. Read more
All and all pretty good. They missed two of sandwiches and we had to have one other remade. They were super busy though, so it's... not really the crew members fault. They seemed short handed and over worked. Read more
We travel through Maine, new Hampshire and Vermont often and this McDonald's is by far our favorite. The food is always hot and... fresh and they never mess up our order or forget to add our extras. The girl who took our order at the register and brought usour food with the short red hair and glasses was very nice and friendly and made us feel welcome. Read more
Well another day and the only good thing is their coffee...not a fast food person..I use to enjoy a breakfast biscuit now... everytime I order one it's always hard as a rock around the edges. By the time you take hard crust off there is nothing left. Iam so over Mickey D's right now. I will continue to stop for coffee only....better pick it up before another fast food is closedin Gorham.
