The property is absolutely gorgeous. The mountain views are breathtaking, and serene. My husband and I had the best time for my... birthday weekend in late October. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and clean. The staff is super welcoming andaccommodating. We loved the breakfast, all day coffee station, and Neal at the bar was so friendly, and made amazing drinks .The location is close town, and many gorgeous hiking spots. I took a dip in the pool twice. It was cool, refreshing, and had astunning view of the mountains. We also really enjoyed warming up by the outdoor fireplace at night. I can't wait to come back. Beautiful affordable hotel. Rooms are very clean, bathroom is large and shower is wonderful! Beds are comfy and pillows are... fluffy. Views are amazing. The only downfall is the restaurant (food wise only) is not very good. All staff were great! We willdefinitely be returning. Read more
A lovely place to stay in the White Mountains! The location is accessible to great hiking trails within only a few minutes... drive. We had a standard room which had a nice view of the Glen trails, was spacious, and had an extremely comfortable bed. Thelinens were so soft! They leave out a basket of cookies in the evening and have a coffee station throughout the day (with greatcoffee!). We will absolutely stay here again! Read more
The hotel is just beautiful from the lobby to the rooms to the gorgeous scenery out every window. The staff were so friendly... and helpful. The restaurant was delicious. The outdoors firepit and seating area facing nature was such a nice bonus. Everythingis sparkling clean and new and plenty of cozy lobby areas to relax or get together with other travelers. Loved that they hadcoffee and tea station (with yummy cookies) throughout the day. Little things that make a big difference. Rooms were lovely,comfortable and bathroom was huge and nicely done. The Hotel is a family owned business and it showed, we booked it over the phone 1/2 hour before arrival. When we arrived we were... greeted by very friendly front desk clerks Ashley and Yvette. We stayed 3 days and these 2 young ladies are nothing short ofamazing, as was Alyssa. They were very knowledgeable of not only the hotel but also of the area, including restaurants andhiking trails. The trio are full of personality and catered to our every whim. The room was extremely clean and had a tremendousview of Mt. Washington. The bar and patio with its outside firepit, comfortable seating and gorgeous views of the mountains areincredible. We ate at the hotel restaurant several times. The food was very good and our waitress Tina was terrific. Thehostesses in both the am and pm were very accommodating and helpful. The hotel has very nice walking/biking trails that borderits property. Read more
Amazing property and so well located with amazing views! The restaurant food and bar were excellent so was the room cleanliness... and in general staff. The only suggestion would be to have some courteous people in the front desk. We were greeted by a rudeperson who actually said ?well you will get what you paid for? only when asked for a room with a view if possible! Read more
Beautiful hotel! I owe so many thanks for the help of Tom taking video of my fiancé proposing on the back patio overlooking the... mountains! Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable about the different trails and activities in the area. The room wasmodern, quiet during the night, and extremely clean. The Notch Grille located inside the hotel offered delicious food forbreakfast and dinner. There was also a station with water and snacks during the day which was appreciated after taking a longhike. The bar area was a nice hangout while winding down for the evening. I would highly recommend The Glen House and can?t waitto visit again soon! Read more
