When it was Martha's it was a one of those special places you could find a amazing sandwich for great prices . The new... management seems more concerned with bleeding tourist for maximum profit. The base price of sandwichs is ridiculously high andthe quality is just "ok" . They charge for anything and everything extra you ask for regardless of what that may be, theattached photo shows a sandwich ordered (and charged) extra onions but the amount on the sandwich fails to justify the extracost. You can "ask" for all the extra you want and they will gladly charge you but actually getting "extra" is something thatjust doesn't happen. Today I was charged 41.43 for 3 sandwichs and the justification was "rising food cost " so basically theyopenly admitted to passing their operations cost on to the customer, I understand running a business is difficult but whenprofits are put ahead of customer satisfaction and quality, most intelligent customers will just go elsewhere. Hey only haverolls with seeds with no other option.. my wife is allergic so she had to scrap them off.. There are plenty of really goodsandwich shops (and just as many bad ones) throughout the pocono mountains and I would highly recommend seeking anotherestablishment until this place gets its priorities straight. Just head over, the phone doesn?t get answered! So sweet and accommodating! We went on a busy Friday and they quickly put... together our order for our hike, and we enjoyed it and went back again the next day. Hoagies were freshly made on crusty breadwith coleslaw and the Buffalo shrimp were good too although a little smaller than represented but we liked it more than thefried fish. Truly the hidden gem of Gouldsboro. I moved back to Gouldsoro for 6 months and I?m so glad we had this nearby to get takeout... from all the time. We also love getting this when guests visit. It?s the best take out food right near Big Bass Lake. Here?swhat we always order from Main Street Deli ? we love everything but these are our favorites! - Bada Bing Chicken bites (they?recrispy and tossed in this sweet and savory sauce and they?re served with shredded lettuce) - Billy G?s Misto Salad (add crispyor grilled chicken and make sure you get it with the Orange Cognac dressing. SO SO good) - Chicken Cheese Steaks + RegularCheese Steaks (any of them are amazing) - Hangover Burger All the employees are so kind and I hope this place doesn?t goanywhere because it?s really the best in the area. Main Street Deli is one of our local go-to spots for a quick, quality meal. Their hoagies are top notch (I'm a big fan of the... Italian with hot peppers). My only gripe, just because it's inconvenient and costs a few to use their on-site ATM, is that it'scash-only. It's 2022, anyone with a cell phone can process debit and credit cards.
