What a gem! A quick diversion off the freeway and one you won’t regret! Great General Store, brewery and butcher attached plus... amazing Haw river and garden views of some of the most diverse plants I’ve seen in the Piedmont. Amphitheater right there too!It was storming otherwise we would have went to the Saxapahaw island park a couple miles away. Looks really cool! Kayakoutfitter right there and camping as well. Drove 45 minutes to have lunch here today and it was nothing short of amazing! The Roasted Carrot Gnocchi was simply divine and... the best meal I've had in a long time. They have indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful views of the Haw River. The staff andservice were outstanding, can't wait to go back. Read more
The arrangement of seating offers personal space between tables. Farm to table does not disappoint in any of the dishes! Do make... a reservation or else be expected to wait an hour or so. The earlier the better because parking can be difficult to find goinginto peak hours! Read more

I don't know where to start. The food? Amazing. The service? Top notch. (From the hostess to the barstaff to the server.) The... view on the deck? Gorgeous! Everything we had was delicious and thoughtfully prepared and presented. It was our first visit butdefinitely won't be our last. Visited again in February, 2022. Beautiful dinner on the deck. I sometimes read reviews where the person says they drove several hours to eat at an establishment. I always laugh and say 'no... way'. Well I would drive hours to eat here and I did on Sunday. We met some relatives here. This place is amazing. Started withas n Oatmeal Sout. I had Huervos Rancheros. Absolutely fantastic. My relatives got the burger (she loved it), another relativegot the meatloaf (he raved) but the star of the show was the squash and Kale salad. My relatives only ate half and offered it tome. I thought I would taste it for review purposes only but I ate the entire thing If Kale tasted this good normally I would eatit every single day. The vinaigrette was totally sublime.
