The girl singing was so good. Our waitress was great. The food was cold and took forever.
Walked in, sign says seat yourself. Me and several others sat around for 20 min with no service. Walked inside tried to get the... bartenders attention but also oblivious and ignored several people but kept serving the same people. It wasn't even busy therewere probably 5 tables if that. I liked their large covered outdoor seating area. Our server was very attentive. Food was good.
The food is consistently good. Drinks are made well. Sometimes the wine glasses have smudges, so better attention to those... lipsticks stains would be good. The staff are friendly and remember us because we are regulars. Clean restaurant. Door handle onthe bathroom should be more of a push/pull rather than a handle. To go order - super small portions. That drink cost me $2.50 and the side of mac and cheese was $5. What a complete rip off.
We had Captain’s for lunch today. Their Thursday special is boneless wings. They were very meaty and very good. I was... impressed. The waitress told us about their specials every day of the week. From the sounds of it you can’t go wrong on anyweek day; except Friday. No specials that day. The music was not so loud this time. I also made sure we didn’t sit under aspeaker. Still wish they had booths. We’re planning on going again on a Wednesday for their hamburger special. See you then.Original post: Food is very good. Prices seem a little on the high side. Cement floors. Atmosphere is not very cozy. Nice largebar area with stools. No booth sitting anywhere in the restaurant. Music (house sound) was very loud.
